Getting over the Rugby is greatly assisted by remembering a couple of days joy celebrating Rioja’s Centenary. Fabulous wines,traditional and mould-breaking, predictable bliss and shocking excitement, babes in arms and grandpas. A wonderful reminder of how individual Rioja can be.

On Friday a couple of winelovers tasted 26 vintages. Didn’t have to open a single second bottle, each one reflected it’s vintage, none corked, none flawed.. Vn 2009 and Vn 2010 stood out. Who will follow Magali? Can’t announce it just yet 🤫@janeansonwine @TheWineSociety

Tasted all 26 vintages that Magali Guyon has produced for us as she retires. She leaves wonderful wines in our cellar, and as her boots has sprung a leak, she’ll be tending her own garden in a striking pair of blue Hunter wellies. @CrusBourgeois @TheWineSociety @janeansonwine

I have no idea where I find the energy. In 2025 I tasted our wines in 17 different countries, must have done 10 masterclases. Lost count of the wonderful lunches & dinners, and so many visitors popped in to the vineyard. Didn’t make it to Vienna though. Happy New Year @MiamKitty

In 2025 we managed to ship over 400 000 bottles of wine around the world. A fantastic result 🥳 Transporters were unable to pick up a few very large orders before the end of the year. Ontario winelovers will miss 9 828 bottles for New Year celebrations🤦‍♂️ @MiamKitty #winelovers
