@RealDirtyManpon @CJGRISHAM @GavinNewsom Skill saw is universal term for a worm drive, all American everyday kick ass saw that real men use. The fact that he’s using a makita worm drive is gay
English

@CJGRISHAM @GavinNewsom Look at you pretending to know what a Skil saw is. That's a Makita worm drive. Skil is a brand, not a type of tool. It could also be a Harbor Freight brand, their tools are also blue.

@jonsengland @steven_sipple Speaking of bad podcasts, has he stopped podcasting?
English

@steven_sipple Matt Rhule is Mike Riley with a podcast.
Both coaches are super nice guys who were given lots of resources but yielded average teams on the field. It is what it is.

Call me a Pollyanna, but I’m riding with Jason Peter. His blunt takes on NU football aren’t negativity — they’re rooted in high standards and love for program. The message: stop the hype, embrace honesty, and chase the level it takes to truly win again.

I have never seen regular gas start with a 4 in Kansas. 😐
Never, not in my life.
Today, I regular gas is at $3.99 a gallon, and that means we are one penny away from crossing a line I have never seen before...
This is regular gas. This is what people are putting in their vehicles to get to work, take kids to school, get groceries, drive to appointments, and live their everyday lives.
We are not even into the main summer travel season yet. When I think about gas prices being at their highest point of the year, I usually think about Memorial Day through Labor Day.
We are not even there yet, and regular gas is already the highest I have ever seen in my life.
Will it go up one more penny?
Will regular gas in Kansas finally cross into $4.00 a gallon? And if it does, how much higher will it go before summer is over?

Checking back in on the post…over a month later and diesel is almost $5 per gallon. DJT is cementing a midterm shakeup
Cole Grinde@GrindeOptions
Iran will lose war, U.S. will declare victory. Oil will drop to around $60/barrel. The Dow will surpass 50,000. The S&P 500 will surpass 7,500. Interest rates will be cut 3-4 times. The 10 year interest rate will fall. Unemployment will drop below 4%. Republicans will win mid terms.

@FeitCanWrite @ralulla Dave I think apathy has set in, to which I don’t know if I’ve ever felt quite like this. I’m indifferent now. I don’t plan my Saturday’s around the game or get excited like I used to 🤷🏻♂️
English

I hear the point @ralulla is making, and I agree with it.
We've turned every game into a referendum on the trajectory of the program, overstating losses and undervaluing wins.
Many people have already decided that Rhule is not the guy and are letting that color their happiness.

@HurrdatSports @MDBabs @ralulla @NextGenMaleMed @damonbenning @HailVarsity I guess some of us are still buying into Stevey P’s infamous quote “we will not gravitate towards mediocrity”. I’d like to move the goal posts away from mediocrity

@BEisenhart Nebraska property taxes are not sustainable. School districts building extravagant schools for the sake of “it’s for the kids” is finally catching up. Something has to give

This is the mortgage on a $500k home in a newer suburban area in Omaha with $100k down, including taxes and insurance. It is about as low as you will find in the Elkhorn/Gretna/Bennington, NE area. If you are in the camp that your mortgage shouldn’t be more than 20% of your net take-home pay, your household income needs to be at least $19k a month. Not a lot of people hit that, so are we talking about 30-40% of your net take-home pay? Throw in childcare, and Houston, we have a problem. Not sustainable.

The NFL Draft ends with Emmett Johnson as the lone draftee. However, a handful of Huskers have already signed following the conclusion of the draft. So far…
Dane Key, Denver
Dasan McCullough, Denver
Ceyair Wright, Cincinnati
DeShon Singleton, Kansas City
Henry Lutovsky, Tampa Bay
Javin Wright, Tampa Bay
Alex Bullock (Former Husker/ SDSU), Jacksonville

But nothing was harder than dealing w/the Nebraska noise: "I don't want to talk about Nebraska at all,” Frost told @On3

Can you name a more iconic duo than Janet and Jack? 🖐️💥
Watch Joyce DeWitt CRUSH the first half of Fast Money before John Ritter seals the deal for the big prize. The chemistry, the laughs, the 70s/80s vibes... it’s perfection.
Trivia time: Without looking it up, do you remember which other Three's Company star appeared on the Feud?
Thank you for the endless laughs and the memories that still stick with us decades later. Rest in peace, John. 🕊️✨

@steven_sipple Game day experience Sip? Went to 2 games last year. As a former season ticket holder I’d prefer to stay home. The marketing department has ruined the game day experience selling every available second when the game isn’t being played to zap the energy out of memorial stadium.
English

Sunday column: “Big Red Rebuild” rolls out strong as Troy Dannen frames a $600M Memorial Stadium overhaul as a multi-generational investment in fans, revenue and game-day experience — far bigger than any single season or coach.

@TroyDannen Success is measured in wins and losses. The build it they will come doesn’t apply here. Recruits don’t care how long the lines are at the restroom or beer line. Sell out streak is only in jeopardy if we don’t win
