@SMB_Attorney I’m satisfied/content with growth. That’s what I’ve learned over the years.

I've never met a person with significant wealth who was satisfied. It's a strange aspect of human nature. The traits required to build wealth are the same ones that will never allow complacency or satisfaction.

@JNAranda @eightsleep @tferriss Seems like he finally has gotten an update and it was "found." He hasn't been silent on the issue, just kept getting the reply "it's still in process" which is why we assumed bad SC issues.

Hey @eightsleep, what's up w/ supply chain issues? Had a friend that purchased first week of January, still hasn't arrived? Then he sends this? He said comms have been minimal and a "good faith gesture" refund of $75?? For waiting 1/4 year for a product...yikes. @tferriss

@JNAranda @eightsleep @tferriss No SC issues? So it's normal for a first-week-of-January order to not ship until mid-March? He said he got an update (coincidental or b/c of this tweet) and he said that it's been "found" and delivery has been rescheduled.

I was curious as to why @NBA ratings were falling. I turned it on for 10 mins and saw nonchalant play, a lot of missed 3s, and just shitty basketball <<yawn>> Just bad ball all around.

@TKopelman @Steph_Bogan Makes sense. We've been experimenting and tracking data with the fundamental economic principle "price elasticity of demand" relative to the practice rev of our clients. Taking a page out of @AlexHormozi's book and working through The Value Creation formula.

@acmejla @Steph_Bogan I honestly couldn’t tell ya since some would really skew it I would guess close to .5-2% depending on the client Some very very low relative income And some very low relative to wealth

Sending out fee increase emails to 35 existing households I have worked with for 3-5 years This is a scary thing to do I have put it off for 3+ years but it has to be done Can't have some clients paying 10% of what others pay This is something so many advisors and business owners can relate to The key here is know you worth You want a business full of people who value you and pay you what you are worth

Yeah I love that It’s funny I have breakfast with him next week I’m trying to help change his mind on his fees being to low We right now are $12k for employees or $18k based on complexity. Moving to $15k and $25k next year Then biz owners now is $16k or $25k and moving to $20k and $30k Almost everyone I sit down with moves forward at these fees It’s obviously high up in the market income wise but still

@TKopelman @DocuSign @Schwab4RIAs @altruist Ahh that's really nice! When we did a demo of Altruist in late 2023 the "journal" button was there, but grey'ed out/INOP. Backdoor Roths needed to be processed via paperwork. @jasonwenk, seems like that has been streamlined?

@acmejla @DocuSign @Schwab4RIAs @altruist You can move from taxable to IRA or IRA to Roth just by them being connected now @altruist correct?

We might have to revisit this again in 2025. In our L10 meeting a couple of weeks ago, Cathy (our practice manager) said she set a record for the biggest @DocuSign envelope for a new client: 400+ pages to open all of her accounts. Took her hours to compile for @Schwab4RIAs.

@EvonMendrin @DocuSign @Schwab4RIAs @altruist And also agree on the household-level rebalancing, though I think we could work around on that. But we're starting to use @dimensional for direct indexing, so we'll have to figure that into the equation as well.

@acmejla @DocuSign @Schwab4RIAs @altruist The biggest gripe I have is the difference in experience between retail (😎) and RIAs (🤢). The ability is clearly there for Schwab to improve, if priorities were aligned.

@EvonMendrin @DocuSign @Schwab4RIAs @altruist Agreed. In a world where CX is everything, the advisory side of Schwab for onboarding is archaic compared to retail.

@TKopelman @DocuSign @Schwab4RIAs We never doubted the onboarding process with @altruist but it was the service once on board that we were tepid about. Not being able to journal between accounts, no Roth on-demand (required ppwk to convert BD-Roth conversions, etc.) We'll circle back around after 12/31

@acmejla @DocuSign @Schwab4RIAs Lol that is wild. It pushed me away from schwab We do altruist for everything now and it takes many 3 minutes to open multiple accounts per client And it takes them 2-3 to open all and accept the ACAT
