🇺🇦❗️“I have no idea what the allies have been looking at for four years while we have been at war,” — Ukrainian military instructors who went to help counter Iranian missiles and UAVs are shocked by the way the US shoots down “Shaheds,” writes The Times – First, the Persian Gulf countries launched as many as 8 Patriot missiles at one (!) enemy target, each costing more than $3 million. – They often used a ship-based SM-6 missile, worth about $6 million, to shoot down a “Shahed” worth $70,000. – The US and its allies often literally “shine” their radars like beacons — without proper camouflage. Ukrainians work differently: mobile radars constantly change positions. For example: just three (!) cheap Shahed drones destroyed the AN/FPS-132 early warning radar (~$1 billion) and another air defense radar (~$300 million), which had been standing in one place for months and were perfectly “readable” from satellites.

😳🇺🇸A father of a U.S. service member killed in the Iran war says Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth overstated what families told him, - NBC Hegseth claimed families urged them to keep fighting, but at least one father says he never said that. Charles Simmons (the father) pushed back: “That was not something we talked about. No, I didn’t say anything along those lines.” Instead, he expressed uncertainty about the war: “Who wants war?… I just don’t know what’s going on.” Another official also didn’t hear families telling Trump to “finish the job.”

@UkrReview so ... these countries will ensure safe navigation for Chinese, Indian tankers, to keep global oil price low and so europe can buy cheap oil from Norway and USA (which is not going through Hormuz). Right?

@UkrReview @Maks_NAFO_FELLA If they get help for Ukraine it would be a good deal. The oil may mostly go to China but they are not at war with us and their global purchases put the price of our oil up. In fact we are more under attack from the US than China.

Similar to what Russians did to Ukrainians in the 1930's, Russians now doing to themselves, destroying hundreds of thousands of farmers' livestock to drive them out of business to favor the meat monopoly owned by a United Russia politician. All is being done under the guise of a fictitious "disease" that government refuses to name.
Kyiv Insider@KyivInsider

Russian authorities facing horror among the population, as they continue to expand their weeks long program of destroying farmers livestock under the guise of a fake "disease" in the Nobosibirsk and Penza regions. Authorities still refuse to name the disease in question or demonstrate any proof through tests that it exists among the animals slaughtered. With growing unrest, a convoy of police vehicles, including paddy wagons, arrived in the Siberian village of Kozikha as residents protested the mass slaughter of their livestock. According to reports, dozens of officers were deployed to the Aquarius farm, which holds around 600 cows and 220 sheep. Authorities had earlier imposed a quarantine, citing a “dangerous animal disease,” though the farm’s owner, Vladimir Gurkin, insists the animals were healthy and has filed a complaint with Russia’s Investigative Committee. Residents say security forces moved in while Gurkin was away in Novosibirsk. Officials have provided inconsistent explanations for the killings and have largely avoided direct communication with farmers.

An American woman lost everything due to a system error. All because the police trusted AI 50-year-old Angela Lipps spent nearly 6 months in prison in Tennessee due to a facial recognition system error based on AI. The police mistakenly identified her as a suspect in bank fraud, despite the fact that she was far from the scene of the crimes at the time. She was arrested while watching her grandchildren and spent 108 days in jail without bail. Bank statements proved her innocence, but the police only responded after 5 months, and the case was closed in December. Due to her prolonged incarceration, Lipps lost her home, car, and dog. The police never apologized to her.

@IAPonomarenko Yup, China. Their dictator is sane, believes in science, modern medicine and the wellbeing of his own population. Trump and Project 2025 are ignorant and toxic.

the last major marine battle took about 13000 marines and support forces, with an additional 100,000 support troops in iraq, iran is far larger with a better army.... we are currently sending 3000 with no support

Reporter: Why didn't you notify Japan that you were going to attack Iran? Trump next to the Japanese PM: "Who knows better about surprise than Japan? Why didn't you tell me about Pearl Habour? You believe in surprise I think much more so than us."

Japanese PM Sanae Takaichi's reaction as Trump says "Who knows better about surprise than Japan? Why didn't you tell me about Pearl Habour?" Undoubtedly the worst American diplomatic gaffe in post-war US-Japan history.
