Less than 2 months ago regime thugs were pouring into hospitals, executing wounded protesters in cold blood and arresting the doctors and nurses for treating them. 2 years ago the regime was gassing schoolgirls in their classrooms for daring to protest for women's rights. Hypocrisy doesn't come close.
Masoud Pezeshkian@drpezeshkian

Attacks on hospitals strike at life itself. Attacks on schools target a nation's future. Targeting patients and children blatantly violates humanitarian principles. The world must condemn it. I stand with my grieving nation. Iran will not remain silent or yield to these crimes.

One of the most seismic events in world history is occurring as we speak in Iran and Australia's self absorbed activist class focus entirely on tweeting about the Adelaide Writers Festival.

While most celebrities remain painfully silent, a few stand out and speak up for millions of Iranians fighting for their lives, as the regime shoots at protesters and enforces a nationwide internet blackout. Thank you, Pink! We need more voices. Iranians need us, now!

The IRGC and Basij are massacring protesters in the streets. More than 2000 people have now been reported killed, the actual numbers are likely higher. Heavily armed thugs are firing live rounds on unarmed crowds of innocent people simply gathering to demand their rights. Thousands have been arrested with prosecutors and judges already threatening the death penalty. The regime is teetering, but absent one final, almighty push the Iranian people will be doomed to repeat this cycle of violence again and again

Message from Soheila Hejab, a Kurdish-Iranian political prisoner arrested for protesting last week and currently held in Kachui prison, Karaj: “To those who ask about me, tell them that I am not important. Tell the world that in this prison there are a large number of young girls— ten and twelve years old, possibly around one hundred of them—who have been arrested, and they cannot endure this place of torture. They are not even allowed to inform their families" (of their arrest)

These brave, young women sparked the 2022 uprising in Iran. Today is built on their courage and their sacrifice. I hope they’re looking down, proud of how far this has come. I wish they were here to witness it. We won’t ever forget you 💔

Let me tell you one thing to grasp the scale of this revolution: I know people who went into the streets with their family who have never joined a protest in their life. I know people who have never touched politics. I know people from the far left to the far right, religious and non-religious alike. They were all out tonight. And they all said the same thing: “We do it for Iran.”
