I went off protocol and ate meat. While traveling in Australia, I tried to fit in with social norms and ate animal protein for the first time in six years. Here’s what happened… It changed my gut microbiome: + good bacteria dropped 61% (the fiber-eating kind… Roseburia and Agathobacter) + fat handling, bile tolerant bacteria jumped 2.5x (+154%) It made for a good experiment. To be clear, I am not against meat. Plenty of omnivores have perfectly healthy microbiomes too. This only shows that in me, after six years of legumes, pea protein, hemp protein, vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, berries, nuts, seeds and collagen peptides, one week of animal food left this unfavorable signature. The scientific details of what we learned: 1) Gut bacteria digest fiber to make butyrate and SCFAs, which repair your gut lining and turn down inflammation. I had 61% less which means my gut wall was possibly more vulnerable and I had less protection against inflammation. 2) The animal food sources had my body generate more bile which acts a bit like a detergent, killing off sensitive good bacteria and enabling tougher, tolerant ones to take over. There's some early evidence these shifts can happen within a day of eating animal food. TO BE CLEAR: you eat what you want. I support you. I am not trying to get you to eat what I eat. I’m sharing experiment results from measuring my body.

🚨 WOW! Even CNN just admitted that Fauci pleading the 5th 112 times was a HORRIBLE MOVE, it opened him up to PROSECUTION that he otherwise wouldn't have faced "It makes it worse. It's even a curious way in which you wonder what his legal advice was, why they decided to do that!" "So then to plead the Fifth is actually, he could then be held in CONTEMPT." "Because he does not face criminal jeopardy for the pardon in all likelihood. He's pardoned for all actions before January 2025. But that also means that you're forced to testify." "That's how prosecutors use immunity or pardons and they say, now you're forced to testify because you don't have any criminal liability, what we're going to ask you about." "There could be, theoretically at least, a Justice Department that goes after him for not answering when he is not really facing that criminal [jeopardy]."

CNN's Erin Burnett asks an NYU law professor if Fauci is in real trouble after pleading the Fifth 111 times. His answer: It made things WORSE. BURNETT: "112 times to invoke the Fifth Amendment. I mean, you can't even string all that together… Will that strategy work? Because he says, well, 'I had to do that because, you know, they're looking for perjury traps,' or does that just make it worse and is he in real trouble?" GOODMAN: "I think it makes it worse. It's even a curious way in which you wonder what his legal advice was, why they decided to do that. Because he does not face criminal jeopardy for the pardon. In all likelihood, he's pardoned for all actions before January 2025. But that also means that you're forced to testify." "That's how prosecutors use immunity or pardons. And they say now you're forced to testify because you don't have any criminal liability… So then to plead the Fifth is actually he could then be held in contempt. There could be theoretically, at least, a Justice Department that goes after him for not answering when he is not really facing that criminal charge." BURNETT: "And also when the reason [to plead the Fifth] is perjury traps... to the layperson, it's saying, well, 'Why wouldn't you just say the truth? What would be the problem in that?' So... it doesn't sound good."

A good meeting with President Trump @POTUS at the Oval Office. Thank you for everything we do together to protect the lives of Ukrainians and advance peace. First and foremost, I offered President Trump our condolences on the passing of Lindsey Graham. He was a true friend of Ukraine. The President and I discussed licenses for Patriot interceptor production and several other ideas that could help. We also spoke about diplomacy – it’s important that the diplomatic process be reinvigorated. Our teams will arrange the details of their further communication. I am grateful to the United States for its firm support.
