Today, we're unveiling the all-new acquired.fm. It's been 8 months in the works, hand-crafted to represent what Acquired has become today.
Enjoy :)

@AcquiredFM @gilbert Awesome, when are we getting the next episode?

This is brand.
Design alone can't do this. There's a clear first principle driving how @gilbert and @djrosent tell stories and tell @AcquiredFM 's story. The right strategy leads to beautiful executions.

@AcquiredFM fantastic work... setting the bar higher as usual

@film42 Oh we do... just worse versions than what you hear, and 3-5 times before shipping ;)

I feel bad for @AcquiredFM because they don’t get to listen to Acquired while running the way I get to. Thank you for what you do!

We even heard in our F1 episode research that the Miami Grand Prix grosses more ticket revenue for that one weekend than an entire season of Dolphins ticket revenue.
Dave Hyde@davehydesports
CNBC's Andrew Sorkin: Andrew Sorkin: “I think you made more money on F1 than the Dolphins. Am I wrong?" Steve Ross: "F1 has been great … We get more attendance for F1 races for three days than the entire (Dolphins) season tickets that we sold."

Lego is an interesting company. It initially started as a product for kids. But they almost went bankrupt in the early 2000s when kids switched to video games. Then they switched to selling toys to adults. Big technical sets that are $200–$850. They marketed it legos as a creative hobby.
Saved their business. Now a big portion of their revenue is adults.

a day in the life of a LEGO designer in Denmark is pretty how imagined the day in the life of a LEGO designer in Denmark

I hadn’t thought about the Pepsi Challenge for decades.
Hearing it on the @AcquiredFM Coca-Cola episode, my son asked if we could do it, so we stopped at the supermarket.
Kids preferred Pepsi, & adults preferred Coke (but there was spirited debate about serving temperature).
