@TheVoiceMann Will never change the fact that her nose didn’t bleed when she entered Mike’s mind from the gate. Kali’s death was an illusion to Hopper, and El in the gate was an illusion by Kali to the rest of them. El’s nose not bleeding is all you need to see to know that wasn’t really her.

My take on Eleven’s fate in Stranger Things. SPOILERS. SPOILERS. READY? OK... Do I think she survived? No. Yes, the show offers an explanation for her potential survival by the way of her "sister". But how that explanation is delivered matters far more. It’s framed as a story. A story told by a teenage boy grieving the loss of (likely) his first love, and everything they went through together. In many ways, he’s grieving a part of himself too. Will asks, “How do we know it’s true?” And Mike answers, “We don’t. But I choose to believe it.” That line is the answer. He chooses to believe it because he has to. To let go. To move forward. And he tells it to all of them so they can let go too. The final image of Eleven standing on the cliff is close to the dream he once had for them, but not exact. Because he’s no longer a kid clinging to a fantasy. He’s grown now. Even his hope has matured. Eleven made the ultimate sacrifice. And I love it. That’s far more powerful than ever seeing her again. Leave it alone. Let the weight of it sit forever. And yes, of course the Duffer Brothers leave just enough room for interpretation in case they ever want that 20-year reunion. ;)

@harristic_ yeah, darker constrasting leaf colors will help. the right example is a step too far.

in theory, filling the black spots with fitting colours is much better, but the end result is pretty abhorrent and the original texture is unrecognisable. hope they tweak this more

@TheBeardedOne55 @docm77 i rarely play anymore, regardless of the new stuff they add, because when you return there's still the inventory problem.

@docm77 I think I remember Tango talking about it before, that Mojang focuses on adding things that will bring in new/ lapsed players ie interesting mobs, new POIs etc rather than qol. Bigger flashier additions get more attention than adding extra utility bars like in an MMORPG.

I think Minecraft reached a point, where adding more mobs and random stuff is no longer beneficial. Focus on qol. Inventory management. Nothing else is important relative to that.

@Shrimpsnail1 impressive and beautiful work. i have shared with a community of minecrafters i know. first time i have ever done that for any resource pack. i've had an on/off relationship with pack making (mostly off). so i also admire your work ethic and commitment to such a pack. 🫡
