These months have been very difficult for all of us, but even much more difficult for our President. Election rigged. Comrades abducted, tortured and others raped. His two Deputy Presidents among those abducted. The third one arrested and charged with terrorism. His Home attacked by the military. Forced to flee for his life. Home attacked again. Wife assaulted. Property vandalised. Items stolen. Edith Mufumbiro dead. Quickly followed by Hon. Hellen Nakimuli. Not able to physically say farewell to these, his beloved friends,because he is forced by circumstances not to be around. Not because he committed any offence, but because he dared challenge the Museveni regime. He and his family need our prayers. They need our support. Leading an organisation that is hounded left, right and center in such times isn't an easy task.

Very pleased earlier, to virtually address some of the recently elected @NUP_Ug leaders at the levels of Member of Parliament, District Chairperson and Mayor, at a retreat held at One Love Beach, Busabala. I congratulated them on their victory, but reminded them that hundreds more were elected but were rigged with so much impunity by the regime. I reminded them to not lose sight of our main goal which is to redeem our nation from dictatorship. I charged them to remain united and avoid the temptations that come with leadership spaces under a dictatorship. I was very delighted to hear about the many other discussions they had regarding the political prisoners and other violations which happened in the election. These comrades also had a lengthy discussion focused on how to put the values of our party into practice as they embark on their leadership roles. We shall see them according to their fruits! #FreeUgandaNow

Gen. Salim Saleh you were born for a time such as this (Esther 4:14). People make pilgrimage to Mecca, Rome/Namugongo and Kapeka because they believe in Prophet Muhammad, Jesus and Gen. Saleh respectively. We have seen people like Hon Rwakasisi gain their freedom. Col. Besigye is one of the few qualified medical doctors who left his comfortable life and joined the NRA then called rebels. He made his contribution in the bush and after the bush and he is one of the best Political Commissars Uganda has ever had. Other historicals are being awarded medals. For him he only needs to be allowed to access medical care at a facility of his choice. In the current circumstances you are one can make this happen. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. We treasure life even for the unborn as a God fearing nation. For God and my Country is our Motto.. Let us not allow those who sacrificed to go in vain. History will not be fair to us. The longer Col. Besigye is denied decent medical treatment the most likely he will die in prison. This curse of his blood may take years to cleanse from our nation Uganda. Not even national prayer breakfasts shall do it. Forgive is virtue. In this country we have forgiven thieves, criminals name it. Many Ugandans out there don't believe that Col. Besigye is legally detained. Even the West that would have been a voice of reason moved on from him and are now focusing on Bobi Wine. So Ugandans have to pass on this message to our leaders. Many are afraid to say it. I am an NRM cadre and it's on record I have never supported Col. Besigye in his political struggles. But this is different; it's a struggle for his life. We need to honour those who shed their blood /died for the Bra revolution by treating those who are still alive with some level of dignity. So I know, a Mordecai who visits Kapeka will pass on this message to you. You can speak to the father, to the son to the mother to the brother etc. and your message shall be accepted just like King Xerxes did accept Esther's message. Meanwhile, my two Party deputy presidents for Western and Northern Uganda are still missing, having been abducted by the military on the 14th and 15th, respectively. Apparently Museveni’s son has ordered the military not to produce them before court or return them to their families until he says so. Despite having been abducted in the presence of witnesses and even recorded on camera, the regime has filed court documents denying knowledge of their whereabouts. This is very urgent because these leaders could suffer the same fate as our 18 supporters who were forcefully disappeared in the last election and are missing to date. This is the STATE OF UGANDA in 2026. The world must not look on as these shocking atrocities persist. #FreeUgandaNow

Yesterday, Bobi Wine was in Gomba to check on his paternal family and relatives. Of course, this is not where even the regime would expect him to show up at such a time. The regime was fully deployed at the hospital where Barbie is receiving treatment, hoping Bobi would show up.

Opinion: Only for Ugandans who are in the struggle for change! I think for us to succeed in this struggle, we must own it. By owning it, I mean being part of it and getting fully involved. We know the house of Bobi Wine was vandalized and all their electronics were confiscated. I am sure there are people in the struggle who own shops selling doors, glass, door handles, CCTV cameras, etc. Such people can come out and take responsibility for one thing. For example, the one selling doors can say, “I have the doors; come pick them from my shop,” same with the hinges, glass and the list goes on. We have lost our brothers and sisters in the struggle innocently. Some are imprisoned and have left their children behind. Soon schools are starting, so we need to fundraise to ensure their kids go to school. Those who own schools could take in some of these children to study for free. If 1 million people each contribute 10,000 shillings, that’s 10 billion shillings, which is more than enough to pay fees. If we don’t come together to do something, those in prison will lose hope and those we have lost will have died in vain. Remember when M7 was fighting in the bush, they had people like Amama Mbabazi in Europe soliciting funds. Our leaders who are out, from LC5 to MP, shouldn’t remain silent and leave the struggle to only Bobi Wine. Take the lead.

They are indirectly trying to force H.E. Bobi Wine to command the youth to become violent, so they can discredit him or postpone the elections indefinitely to safeguard their transition process without the people’s mandate.
