Met a couple of young filmmakers today who have been bolstered by the success of #Aaromaley, #KishenDas, and #Abishan's decision to turn hero with #WithLove. They are, in fact, counting on the success of these young actors for their own dreams to take flight. It felt like a nice reminder that such success stories have a ripple effect that will find resonance among those coming up the same ladder. May Tamil cinema have a lot more young actors having fun with lighter genres, giving us films that tellus how even the superstars of today had softer and calmer starts, and it is okay for all kinds of films to exist in this ecosystem.
