@WarrenP024 Exactly! Unfortunately, this is the team they are. Pitching, in general, was overhyped, the offense is slightly better than last year but not great, and the manager is the worst in baseball. I still root for them but gotta be realistic about the expectations. 76-78 wins, at best.

This Pirates team is really hard to watch. So undisciplined at the plate . Horrible hitting coach . Defense sucks. Bullpen is the worst in baseball. Manager gets out managed every game. Such a boring baseball team.

@_adamcrowley Triolo sucks, but that one is mostly on Kelly, in my opinion. You either have to hit for him or bunt him up. One or the other. I also would’ve had a pinch runner for Ozuna. Kelly doesn’t know what he’s doing. It’s sad.

@2fittyeckert @WPIAL_Insider Shaler got the 8 seed because of the WPIAL playoff format. That doesn’t mean they were the 8th best team in 5A. In my opinion, there were probably seven 5A teams that could have been the 2 seed in 6A over North Allegheny this year.

Define ‘compete’ Is it easier to get a 3-seed in 6A or 5A? What seed would canon Mac have been in the 5A playoffs?

@2fittyeckert @WPIAL_Insider Moon, Woodland Hills, Penn-Trafford, and Bethel Park most definitely would have been competitive in 6A this cycle. Nobody is saying Central wasn’t the best team, they were, but the rest of 6A was average at best during this cycle. Things change year to year, though!

In 3 years he resurrected a proud program! Woody was in shambles before he got there. He steadied the program and won a conference title. Extension is well deserved! Keep up the good work Coach Tarrant!
