I showed Superman (2025) to my 3 year old nieces yesterday and they loved it. They liked seeing him fly, they thought the dog was cute, they even liked the robot lady. They really dug the giant monster since they are also into Godzilla.
Needless to say I threw the remote across the room and yelled at them for praising a movie for children. I pulled up pictures of Henry Cavill's suit and explained why it was peak and then made them sit through a 4 hour live stream of a guy talking about how it broke the consistent lore from the comics.
I set them straight. I am also not allowed to babysit anymore.
