….ya no existen los ppi's ni se usan tanques de oxígeno en piso, ella ya no está aquí pero sigue conmigo y yo con ella. Lo único que permanece es este elevador y el oxígeno que es parte fundamental de mi vida profesional.

Hilito 🧵🧵 Este es el elevador de servicio de CM alta especialidad. Hoy lo usé y me vinieron a la mente recuerdos: Aquí subía con un mark VII a dar ppi's en las madrugadas mas dormido que despierto. Aquí transportaba tanques de oxígeno en un "diablito" con una llave "perica"

President Trump very dyspneic walking ~60 paces (stop 2x) and up ~30 steps. ? was O2 sats w/ walking ✅before he left WRAMC? His “energy” not real, probably side effect of steroids. Vitals Q2h. Check O2 sats. Give O2 during sleep. Lots of other concerns.

Our patient with Covid pneumonia on 70% & PEEP 14 writing to me about her scary dream. She started crying and desaturated and said she’s thankful not to be heavily sedated so she can communicate. Don’t assume heavy sedation is necessary. Every patient’s needs are different.

Las informaciones que señalan que el Covid no es una afección propia de los pulmones, sino de la sangre son simplistas. Lo que es claro es que es compleja y NO es solo una neumonía sino que incluye enfermedad trombótica, entre otra cosas.
