I’ve seen a lot of doom and gloom about Indiana and I don’t understand it tbh Yes, keeping a top 4 pick would’ve been ELITE for them, but there’s no world where having pick 5 makes more sense for their team than having Ivica Zubac Plus, on draft night they now have 3 tradeable first round picks (‘27, ‘31, ‘33). They are still one of the best positioned teams in the league and solved their biggest need with Zu on a team-friendly contract

There’s plenty of defenders of that trade. Your algorithm just isn’t doing a good job of showing you it. Also, I’m not interested in having purely a spreadsheet conversation with you shouting out metrics you probably don’t even understand. Contextualize it with the film you’re seeing on the court and I can discuss it.

If we were trading two 1st's, it should've been picks from '27, '28, '29 and '30...not from the year we finished with a bottom three record.

I'm really sorry to all our fans. I own taking this risk. Surprised it came up 5th after this year. I thought we were due some luck. But please remember - this team deserved a starting center to compete with the best teams next year. We have always been resilient.
