This whole discourse is so funny because even the Salem King you’re referencing does not center his relationship in his content. We know he’s married and yes, he posts his wife. BUT his content does not revolve around their marriage. You people should please stop telling lies.

Let’s have some constructive criticism. First, this isn’t ₦500k–₦1M “salary”. Rather, a one-time gig, zero benefits, no guarantees of recurring income. All for work that exceeds full-time (7 days a week. No breaks.) And the math doesn’t add up: Let’s even break it down 👇🏾

Michael Carrick has gotten 4 wins in a row, 2 wins in a row and 3 wins in a row from 14 Premier League matches. Ruben Amorim needed 35 Premier League matches to get 2 wins in a row.

@Victor_Webflow Lol. I think it's simple. Some pay for some JD is not good, whether it's done by someone is Ibadan or Ketu or Ojuelegba. Will there be overly qualified people who should normally be turning down such jobs who will accept it? - Yes!

That whole “Nigerians client abroad” convo… there’s some truth to it, no doubt. But to be fair, not all of them. I’ve had a Nigerian client in the UK round up my balance with an extra $80. Another paid me in GBP without stress. Even one of my webflow mentees in the UK, @martino_fitzzz , paid me in his currency too. So yes, there are still reasonable people. Me? I’ll charge you in your currency or help you convert to naira. No unnecessary back and forth. Peace ✌🏼.

These yellow pit stains are usually caused by deodorant or antiperspirant mixing with your sweat. You can remove them by spraying the area with 3% hydrogen peroxide. Let this sit for an hour and then throw the garment into the wash. For more stubborn stains, soak the garment in Oxiclean overnight, then wash. Note that Oxiclean is fine on certain fibers (e.g., cotton), but not others (e.g., silk). Always read labels before using a product.

As a junior professional, avoid roles that assign a salary range like this: 500k to 1.5 million. That spread usually signals that the role is sitting across two/more different pay bands, which means the company hasn’t actually decided what level they’re hiring for. They’re running one process for what are functionally two different levels.

DAZN are the biggest winners from that Carter Efe and Portable boxing fight. They hit a Nigerian social media goldmine with that fight. Not only did they get more subscribers, they also got more people to watch other fights on the day's listing while waiting for the last one. Whether it will translate to a sustainable model in the future, that's up for debate, but as long they continue putting up such fights on their menu, Nigerians would always be eager to watch. A lot of people wanted to see that fight, they stayed up late, asking when it was coming up. Expect DAZN to seek out more of these fights.

@ad_eas Lol, there is no point arguing with you on what you choose to believe or not believe because of your dislike for the government. We have gone past that now, last year was when tax professionals did their best to educate the public about the lies being spread about the reforms.

@Oluhill I admit that I'm a fool. So I'd rather bet on being proven to be one. It's the happier outcome. But this government has shown time and time again that the fools were not wrong.

@ajulunzewi @ad_eas @_aaadedapo You seemed to have a basic knowledge of how tax works. So I'm surprised you think the tax law has any provision for banks to deduct money from people's account.

Even though there are doubts about Carrick's tactical ceiling, he is likely to finish 3rd/4th with this squad, and that counts for something. Any new manager, unless they have a world-class pedigree (like Luis Enrique), will be competing with Carrick from Day 1. Anything below 3rd/4th will lead to questions about why Carrick wasn't retained and, subsequently, will have undue pressure on the new manager. The natural ups and downs of a new project will be forgotten, and everything will become a Carrick vs. new manager argument. He wins, and it will not be a big deal, as Carrick also won. He loses, and it will be like the end of the world. A lose-lose scenario for the new manager.

Oga, Sir! It's my brand name. Thanks a lot for the congratulatory message and your kind words. Appreciate them! I have tried to blend being book and street smart reasonably in my journey. AlhamduliLlah. On being book smart: I've completed over 50 professional courses and qualifications, including some from Harvard Business School Online, and I'm currently enrolled in a Senior Management Programme with LBS. So far, my highest single-shot investment in being book smart is about $8k. I naturally enjoy spending the little I have on learning new things. On being street smart: I've led accounting and finance functions in about 8 countries, including the US, UK, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Mauritius, etc. I used to be a VP of Finance at uLesson. I was instrumental in setting up Miva Open University—especially managing finance-related activities like building models and funding. Also the guy who led uLesson's Series B $15M fundraising due diligence. I used to be a Head of Finance for Orda Africa (recently acquired by Moniepoint), too. Spent some time at FSDH as well, managing portfolio reporting to CBN, SEC, NSE, and Co. Worked 9-5, from being an intern to being VP of Finance, with an Ordinary National Diploma as my highest academic qualification in Nigeria and beyond. 😃 So, yeah, the least I could have been is book smart. Once again, thanks for the recognition, Boss.

Congratulations Mr Iwelabi. Is that your real name? Say, Na Book We Born? Or brand name? I like it either way. The thing with answering that as a surname is, you gotta be at least book smart.
