We hear you 👀 — y’all have had a lot of questions about parking for this weekend’s @lukecombs concert… so let’s clear it up all in one place ⬇️ #lukecombs #Charlottesville (Keep scrolling — we’ve got everything you need to know 🚗) Please feel free to like and share this info with anyone attending, and if you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask! 🔸University Lots: All paid UVA Parking garages and lots are sold at this time. There will be no day-of-event parking available on Grounds. If you have a paid parking pass for your vehicle, you are guaranteed a spot, but those spots are first-come, first-served; no spots are assigned. These lots open at 8 am on Saturday morning. Parking enforcement will resume on Monday, April 6th, at 7:30 am. We do ask that guests remove their cars by Sunday morning at the latest. johnpauljonesarena.com/p/visit/scott-… 🔹ADA Shuttles: This is a free shuttle service for concert attendees with accessibility and mobility needs. Event parking permits are required to park in lots served by the shuttles. The shuttles will run continuously throughout the concert and for up to 90 minutes after it ends. These shuttles are available from the Purple Lot (The Park), Orange Lot (John Paul Jones Area), and Brown Lot (Fontaine). These shuttles are only available to those parking in paid lots. parking.virginia.edu/lukecombs-adas… 🔸Uber/Lyft/Private Car: For those planning to use a rideshare service, private car service, or a family/friend drop off the approved/geofenced drop-off/pick-up area is on McCormick Road. There is a lighted concrete walkway between McCormick and Scott Stadium, which is approximately a 7-minute walk. This road will otherwise be closed to any other through traffic except for emergency and other authorized vehicles. 🔹University Bus Service: The regular UVA Transportation Bus Service (Orange, Gold, and Green Lines) is operating on its normal weekend schedule, with the loop running every 20-30 minutes depending on traffic flow. Please be aware that this service stops at 10:00 pm, so it will not be available to take you back to your car. 🔸Public Parking Garages: There are parking garages and lots at the Market Street Parking Garage (Downtown Mall) at 546 E. Market Street, and at the Water Street Parking Garage at 200. E Water Street. 🔹Private Parking: Please remember that parking lots attached to shopping complexes, such as the Barracks Road Shopping Center, are considered private property and often have signs warning against event parking/potential for towing. Please be mindful of street parking signage/rules to avoid ticketing and/or towing around town. 🔸Traffic: There will likely be heavy traffic around Grounds and throughout the city all day due to multiple events, including the Charlottesville City Market, the Farmers Market at IX Park, and the scheduled UVA Men’s Baseball Game against Florida State at 11:00 am.
