Decided to do something spur of the moment and tint the fretboard. I used TransTint Dark Mission Brown mixed with denatured alcohol. Came out beautiful.

Crappy, old plastic nut safely removed. I wasn't going to replace the nut but after spending so much time on the fretboard and frets I figured I might as well give it a complete makeover. I'll be installing graph tech nut and saddle.

Fret crowning is completed. This took 4 hours. Next is fret board cleanup and fret polishing.

Needed to plug and redrill the 4 outside tuning key holes as they didn't align properly.

New tuners installed. Time for a fret crown and polish. Surprisingly the fret board is level but most of the frets are flat. Chalking this up to QC because there's no way the flat frets are from playing.
