Due to a technical issue, the CME Globex Metals and Natural Gas futures and options markets were halted at 12:15 p.m. today. Natural gas futures and options markets reopened at 12:50CT. Metals markets will reopen at 1:45CT.

Without threat of tariffs I’m not sure what makes lumber exciting this year.

@PeterSchiff People shouldn’t borrow money on CC’s or live beyond their means. My balances are paid off monthly and I an trying to get away from CC’s. IMHO the first one I got in 1990 was one of the worst financial mistakes I made.

Trump wants to impose an unconstitutional one-year 10% cap on credit-card interest rates. This is the same kind of socialist price control he criticized Harris for proposing on groceries. It will force lenders to cut credit limits and close accounts for higher-risk borrowers.

@Ardi_Aaziznia 100% true. First you need to have the means to invest , trade , speculate, or “move up”. Your “daily financial life “ has to first be at least at break even . All financial aspects need to be organized before someone can move on to other areas of financial health. My .02 cents

At the end of the day, all of the financial advice and tricks are useless if you’re not making enough money. First thing you need to invest in is your own skill set and increasing your income.

@MikeCla58829893 This is the part of the market where the people that don’t trade it, and say futures are BS on the way up point the futures out as why they won’t buy cash when it moves down.

Two days of abysmal cash trading in the lumber markets. September futures at a discount to cash and a lower RL print last night continues to push the demand side to the sidelines.

@CMEGroup be great to have a contract for construction structural panels (plywood / osb). We have lumber contracts , a panels contract would be a great tool. Panels are the other half to lumber. Where there is lumber there are panels. Thanks for listening

The obstacle is the way…if you’re injured, sick, unable to be active as you wish… try to find meaning in it. Maybe a forced stillness is your way forward. The discomfort is teaching you something. You can fight it or you can get curious. Your mindset is your choice.

Was thinking about posting more of my thoughts on life as it relates to trading life growth. Hopefully engage some Interaction. Is that something y’all would be into from me? The thoughts will be in longer form. For instance; Today I’m actually struggling a bit emotionally due to some life events. In spite of that, my trades today were perfectly executed and I hit goal. That’s why it’s so important to focus on process. However, I found almost no joy in it. I win trades all the time. I lose trades all the time. I’ve become indifferent to that process. To be truly consistent in your trading this is a must. Fear, Depression, Anxiety, & Hope. These things have no place in the #StockMarket. The bad part to being indifferent to your #DayTrading is on days where the rest of your life is struggling. You don’t get much of an emotional boost from the good trading. What is some of your favorite things to help boost your spirits? I went for a run earlier. That helped me a lot. #TraderMindset
