@NiklausFuller @Ubermenscchh Half of the AI use cases been around for a decade with just normal automation and 90% of orgs still couldn’t get their head out of their ass to implement. Enterprises are obscenely slow and shockingly incapable of making stuff like this actually work.

@thecamjwright Anyone notice that “Top Earner Average” is an oxymoron?
English

Anyone else notice Paycom MID-MARKET in the #2 spot at $1.7M?
Tf..
Ryan @ RepVue@ryan_c_walsh
As tech companies stay private longer, we're starting to see the very top earning roles filter into the non-public organizations - a few years back these $1.5M and up w2 sales individual contributor earning years were much more skewed towards public companies...

@sammarelich Just raise their quota and pay % on accelerators as they hit quota milestones. Commission % should never be flat rate.
English

Had a call with a candidate today who wanted $250k in their next role ($125/$125)
Which is fine
But their quota was $600k per year
The math doesn’t really pencil out
Companies want sales reps to bring in 4-5x their OTE
No can you squint and say $650k closed last year = yeah this person can probably close $800k?
Sure
But hard to see a world where someone magically doubles their number, especially if they’re playing a volume game

@Storage_Venture Yea…when you buy one, and wear one. You understand. With Rolex preferably you buy it to commemorate something.
8sleep - now every other bed sucks.
Crocs - that was mind blowing.
Ferrari - I only started liking it 2 weeks into owning.

@AdamDKSaad When you buy one do you understand all of a sudden? Is there any other product that gives epiphanies too?

You’re an absolute beast. I’ve been in the mud for the last year - my super power is sales an GTM. I haven’t done that in the last 6 months because I’ve been buried in Ops and Delivery. Hired a new COO so I can do what I do best + work on the business. Working in the business sounds like what you did: hyper focus on AI and create an Operating System, LFG.
Well done, brother

I quit my big consulting job to go solo 4 years ago. Here’s an update.
Last year we were just shy of $5M in revenue. 74% gross margin. Over 50% EBITDA. Nearly $10M in cumulative bookings all time. 98% CSAT.
No website for the first year. Started on Upwork. Built through an aggressive partner channel and by finding overlooked but world-class consultants before anyone else did.
My superpower is recruiting.
Year 2, we grew 4.5x. Year 3, growth normalized to 74% YoY — the base was just a lot bigger. We came into 2026 and booked $2.4M in Q1 alone — ahead of plan.
We hired a VP of Sales in February and we’re targeting 60% growth this year. Lots to execute against, but it’s been an awesome ride so far.
I’m not planning to add headcount anytime soon beyond that. The next hires will be AI talent focused on automating work we used to do manually.
Every hire has to have an excellent client-facing personality — gone are the days of boring, grumpy, stuffy consultants.
If you don’t have a personality, you don’t have a chance.
That’s the new reality in professional services.
How we deliver today looks nothing like six months ago. That’s because we built our own internal operating system — purpose-built for how we actually work, not how software vendors think we should.
We did this inside the privacy tech market, which gives the playbook real depth and repeatability.
We’re also considering the next chapter: finding good tech services businesses, acquiring them, and installing our operating model and AI tooling on top.
Bootstrapped, profitable, good people — that’s the profile.
There are a lot of well-run firms leaving margin and growth on the table because they never built the engine.
They can’t quite figure out AI.
We did. Now we want to use it.

Some guy at the gym every morning 6am.
He takes the 45lb plates, all of them.
He loads one bar and he does one rep and sits for 20 minutes.
Then unloads and he leaves, he does this everyday.
We hated him, and nicknamed him the plate dragon.
People started coming in at 5:45 to beat him. He'd just wait smiling and he would take them at 6.
One rep, sit then leaves.
I finally asked him Bro what are you doing?

@FidelCacheFlow Never regret getting a Bentley - especially after someone else took the depreciation

@AdamWhitcroft @auchenberg Get your second watch first - staying in the $2500 range is like lighting your money on fire

My buddy got fired from a mid-size corporate last month.
No handoff. No transition plan.
Just 2 weeks severance + a 15-min Zoom with HR on a Tuesday.
"We're going in a different direction."
He was 24. Built their entire inventory tracking system from scratch. Only person who actually understood how their warehouse integrations worked.
Weeks later his old PM texted:
"Hey man, the system's been down for 6 hours. Can u hop on a quick call?"
Then the COO emailed:
"We'd love to bring u back as a consultant. $200/hr."
So predictable:
> Clip the ppl who actually build machines
> Keep the directors who haven't touched code in 4 years
> Panic when things break
> Beg them to come back at 3x the cost
He's got 48 hours left to respond.
What would u do?

@FidelCacheFlow Look at your forearm and look at your back. Do you think your forearms and grip will EVER be able to keep up with your back muscles?
Bodybuilders use straps for grip.
Do LAT pull downs and lose fat - your pull ups will get better

@FidelCacheFlow The amount of money I pay for advice and coaching would make poor people’s heads fall off
English

My life significantly improved when I stopped even considering opinions and advice from those doing worse than me. Complete disregard of opinions and observations. Once you reach a certain level all of your advice should be paid from said expert in particular area of life wether career finance or personal

@RooktoRep Yea bro - hotel chains really wanted to invest in CRM’s and Marketing Cloud during COVID
