They did review it during the timeout but didn't have the evidence (in their determination) to stop the game to reverse it. Without the timeout, there would be a stopdown review to give them the opportunity to look at all angles.

I stopped caring about the @ChicagoBears when they passed on hiring Harbuagh. Dude had turned around every bad culture he’s walked into and turned them into winners. Just won CFP. Was a Bears first round draft pick. The list goes on and on and yet here we are.

@elonmusk Would like to see X fix an issue where the share button doesn’t appear when a video is in full screen mode making it really hard to share a video especially if the video appears during auto play.

Is @TBSNetwork not sending their announce teams to these playoff games? Saw the Costas clip where he didn’t know the difference between a hit and a catch and now in the 5th Anderson didn’t see an obvious foul tip and said a runner beat a throw that was never made.

@TeamYouTube You advertised this as “Build your own multi view” and your feature is literally labeled “Build a multi view” in the UI. You had a whole NFL season and off-season to get this right. Does no one who works in your streaming department watch sports?

@YouTubeTV you still have yet to fix multi view. Why can’t I put up a multi view of 3 NFL games and the Mets game. Such a fail.

@kurt13warner If you’re convinced you’d go for two to win after the second TD then why not go for it on the first? If you miss it after the second TD, you lose the game. If you miss it after the first TD you still have a chance to tie the game and not lose it.

Someone explain to me the idea of going to 2 in that situation??? Why can’t we just play the game & then decide at the end how to play it? So many passing on points & going for it on 4th down or going for two way too early in a game (18 mins left)!!!

@sunnyvempati Agree that it’s incremental improvement but also sometimes you’re incrementing on the best in class product. I don’t see anyone really innovating in the category right now.

You know that great honeymoon period with a new product where it's new, solves a lot of problems in your life, you keep using it, the company keeps building value... ..and then the honeymoon is over. It's too painful not to use the product, it's way too expensive but you have no choice, the company stops innovating and doesn't care cuz you're locked in seemingly forever, and theres actually much better products out there. Presenting the @Apple iphone 16. Might just rip the band-aid off and join the green texts.

Bravo to @miketirico on the opening to the broadcast tonight. One of my fond memories watching @NBCOlympics as a kid was Bob Costas’ intro each night and this is the first time since Tirico took over that we had such a rousing intro. I hope it happens every night because he knocked it out of the park.

@TeamYouTube I understand that, but I don’t understand how you wouldn’t choose those two games when you were creating your predefined list. It’s as if you’re not paying attention to what’s going on in the NFL.

I can’t believe @YouTubeTV isn’t offering a 4 game multi view option that has both TB and NO games in it. Just impossibly bad.

I actually think I’m on the side of full time officials for the NFL, I just think this revenue argument is a bad one. It’s impractical for those other sports to not have “full time” officials given the number of games they officiate. I also don’t really understand bringing the argument up after a bad judgement call. I don’t think being full time improves your judgement. I think it could improve the application of the rules, but Brad Allen didn’t misapply a rule, he’s just bad at his job.

@NoahBradon @KeytarCatholic I don't care who or what disagrees. My opinion was commonly held by most Catholics, clergy & laity for years, & while I was raised. Many churches had crying rooms. To be clear, I think people at mass shouldn't have to tolerate fussy babies/toddlers. It's really quite a reasonable

Brad Allen went over the PA and announced 70 as eligible and 11 Lions players who all knew it was supposed to be 68 didn’t hear it. That to me is proof why a decoy works. 11 guys on defense see a couple guys go to the white hat and in the chaos don’t perfectly hear the announcement or get even more confused when he announces a number that is different from the decoy.

OK, so the referee announces to the defense who is reporting eligible, so why the decoys? What it wound up doing is the wrong player got the attention of the referee and the one they wanted to did not make it clear that he was reporting.
