@feminemi1y The fact that he is bringing up your personal life, which has nothing to do with your job, when the issue is you feeling symptoms of Covid and needing to make sure you’re in the clear, it’s very unprofessional on his part. I would consider discreetly reporting this to HR.

i didn't go in to work today because i had prolonged direct contact with someone who tested positive the day after. this is what i got from my boss after letting him know. is this my sign to quit?
