Currently this week the fight in the House and Senate to pass legislation is because Republicans are the ones who won’t pass a law requiring voter id, won’t fund border patrol agents and ICE, refuse to make it a law to force warrant requirements for American citizens when the Fed uses FISA 702 surveillance, and flat out refuses to ban a central bank digital currency. 🤯 The Republicans in the House and the Senate have not funded the Department of Homeland Security for 75 days, the one department that actually keeps America’s homeland and border secure, because Senate Republicans refuse to blow up the filibuster and pass the Save America Act and only a handful of House conservatives are demanding the Save America Act (requiring ID to vote) to be passed along with DHS funding. Not only that, FISA 702 surveillance program expires on Thursday and Trump and the majority of Republicans want to vote to give it a clean reauthorization and REFUSE to pass it with warrant requirements if it is used against American citizens and if a ban on central bank digital currency is added to the bill.
