Hazırlıkları aylar süren, haftalar önce duyurularına başladığımız ve günler önce biletleri tükenen MUBI Fest İstanbul 2024'ün başlamasına saatler kala, festival programında yer alan ve aynı zamanda açılış filmi olan QUEER'in gösteriminin yasaklandığını, İstanbul Kadıköy Kaymakamlığı'nın tebliği ile üzülerek öğrendik. Kararda filmin, toplum barışını tehlikeye atacak provokatif içerik taşıdığı gerekçesiyle yasaklandığı ve yasak kararının güvenlik nedeniyle uygulanacağı belirtiliyor. Bu yasak kararının, sanatı ve ifade özgürlüğünü kısıtlayan bir müdahale olduğuna inanıyoruz. Festivaller, sanatın ve kültürel çeşitliliğin kutlandığı, insanları bir araya getiren nefes alma alanlarıdır. Bu yasaklama, yalnızca bir filmi değil, tüm festivali anlamından ve amacından uzaklaştırmaktadır. Bu nedenle, MUBI olarak seyircimizin bizden beklediği doğru duruşu sergilemek istiyor ve MUBI FEST İstanbul’un tamamını iptal etme kararı aldığımızı üzülerek bildiriyoruz. Festivale katılmayı planlayan ve bu durumdan en az bizim kadar üzüntü duyduğuna inandığımız tüm sanatçılara, izleyicilere ve destekçilerimize, gösterdikleri anlayış ve dayanışma için teşekkür ederiz. Hi @plexamp, I've convinced my Llama it won't get ass-whipped when I use #Plexamp, and I'm considering adding Tidal to it. Do I need the £19 p/m Tidal Hi-fi (+£4 Plex Pass, to be sure!) to get Tidal with Plexamp, or will a £9 'premium' Tidal subscription be sufficient?
