At #EPAD20, I'll propose an evidence-based algorithm as a potential way forward for risk-stratified #EarlyDetection of #ProstateCancer. The argument against PSA screening is that it would expose men to overdiagnosis and overtreatment. This algorithm will prevent exactly that.

Just attended the funeral of my best friend. He died from metastatic prostate cancer. I cannot believe that policy makers are still ignoring this disease although all scientific evidence is available that early detection is able to avoid men from dying in painful circumstances.
