In addition to wearing out within months, these super-thin tees look like garbage on people with normal bodies, esp. compounded with the slim-fit trend. Just sheer wispy nothings clinging to every bloop and squidge. The last decade has been hell for my fellow high-gsm lovers.

One of my favorite activities is spotting anomalies like this on the map that can point to the former existence of infrastructure. Circled here is 325 N Jefferson, which owes its triangular shape to the now disappeared section of Milwaukee.

@catlynsavado @declatom Minimum age to be a senator is 30 so that's a pretty narrow window for someone to get elected and then pass transformative and groundbreaking legislation.

@declatom @adamswright yeah im 17, so anyone older than 32 is old, past 37 you are especially pushing it. and i dont know there is nothing from either of them that it transformative or groundbreaking its all just traditional good ole plaster face politics.

Yesterday I interviewed Ken Block, a data guy who the Trump camp hired to investigate voter fraud in 2020 (he couldn't prove any of their claims, and wrote a whole book about the experience called "Disproven") Anyway, Ken stopped me before we ended the podcast and said, "don't you want to hear my prediction?" I was like, oh, yeah, I actually do. He said the following: From 2016 to 2020, Trump lost ground among Republican voters in most of the biggest counties in the battlegrounds. He directed me to pages in his book (which I had at my desk) to look at the charts from places like Georgia. He said: In the last 4 years, he's done nothing to win them back. In fact, he's probably lost *more* of them, as evidenced by the strength Haley had even after she dropped out of the primary. His take was that Trump was going to lose because of these voters and that it might not be close - and any marginal gains with black/hispanic voters wouldn't be enough to offset it. Ken's a pretty level-headed guy, and great with the data, and has been involved in various ways in a lot of political campaigns. I'm not sure what to make of it. But I do think it is an analysis that has been largely absent the last few months, and could prove prescient in the next 24 hours.

The narrative that this election could only be lost if it is "stolen" is now firmly embedded in many conservative punditry circles, which is as absurd as it is dangerous. The polls are effectively tied. Trump is deeply loathed by 50% of the country. He could very easily lose.

@Eric_Erins Harder to BS your way into an actuary job with the licensing/certification required.

Does Insurance attract smarter people than Tech does? The average actuary seems much smarter than the average software engineer.
