THIS IS CRAZY. I connected ElevenLabs to Lovable and built an AI storytelling app in UNDER 20 minutes. Enter a kid's name, pick a theme. The app writes a personalized bedtime story, narrates it with ElevenLabs, and plays ambient sounds that match the story world. → Text to Speech narration with emotion → Sound effects generated on the fly → Download the full story as audio Comment "VOICE" and I'll send you the full workflow + prompts. 👇

@IterIntellectus There are multiple ways to sleep train - we used the "pick up put down" method, and while it resulted in just bringing the baby into bed maybe 4 times out of 10, eventually it clicked and now our toddler sleeps perfectly on her own. And she never "cried it out"

"sleep training" a newborn means letting a defenseless baby scream for its mother in the dark until it's either exhausted or has given up on life. the attachment literature is clear that before 6 months, a baby crying with nobody coming learns exactly one thing, that calling for help doesn't work and you even have parents bragging about how they tortured their kid into an 8h sleep you need to attend to every need of your child. they don't have a prefrontal cortex able to understand what's happening. if you love them and care for them, they'll barely cry, and when they do there's a clear reason you can address right away

@JacoMajor I lived in Fed Hill / Otterbein for a few years in my early 20s. Awesome place to live for young people. Great social life. Crime is always a concern, but the right / lower right portions of the map are way safer than the rest of Baltimore.

@DicconHyatt I would pay money for a LIST of children's book with good rhyme and meter. Seuss is an obvious pick, but we've found some other gems off the beaten path. Is anyone doing this?

It's crazy how often you pick up a children's book and find it's poetry but the author made no attempt at having any kind of meter whatsoever. Like no one at any point in writing, editing, or publishing it knew what meter is or tried to read it out loud

@e_cdalton Chocolate too. Used to be that a mini Hershey's bar would throw me into a frenzy. Now? It wouldn't even keep me awake.

Coffee has gotten weaker. Used to be that a cup of coffee would energize you like crazy. Back when I first started, the coffee was so high quality that it would almost get you “high.” It felt like a legitimate psychotropic. Now coffee only gets you to baseline. It changed.

I want to start a community dedicated to Claude Code. It’s become the gateway drug to coding and experiencing the power of AI for tons of people. This will be a space for people to share killer use cases, agentic workflows, proven prompts, and connect with other CC obsessives. Comment “Claude” if you want to join.

@e_cdalton I’ve noticed this too. I used to be able to blackout and wake up the next morning, smoke a joint with my roommates and be totally fine. Now I have 2 drinks and wake up to screaming kids and a splitting headache. Something’s up for sure.

Alcohol used to be much cleaner. You could drink it all night and then wake up and feel great. Go work out, ace the test, attend classes, etc. But now you have a few drinks at night and you’re tired the next day. What the hell are they putting in alcohol these days?

When I was a kid, the adults had conversations that were super advanced and downright opaque. Could barely follow them. Nowadays adults have conversations that are much easier to understand. Almost simplistic.
