ATADA / ATAD2 Cardano StakePool Austria
My take on k - and you can roast me for it: Until we have a new dynamic soft-limit for the saturation point of Stakepools that can be raised via pledge, i will not support raising k. We started our service with the promise that pledge matters. Keep that promise. Raising k without that mechanism is stealing stake from community pools and punishing them for the hard work they put in in the last 5 years to aquire stake near the saturation level. Enterprise Pools would simply split, community pools would suffer for doing nothing wrong. Also, delegators would not redelegate to a pool with 1-2M ada. They would - if ever - redelegate to a pool that has 30M or more. Why, because of the better numbers. Forcing delegators to redelegate will end in loosing a lot of delegators on Cardano. There is no real incentive with the rewards right now to keep delegators in Cardano.

Amazing to me the number of proprietary code solutions that are asking for funding for development from the treasury. I really hope DReps value open source/open standard solutions over proprietary software.

A rebuttal to @Davincij15's very, very bad research on $ADA and the entirety of the Cardano ecosystem:

I need tickers of active single-stake pool operators that need some delegation. Adding them to an upcoming video. Just leave a comment please and I'll add them in.

#Cardano #SPOs... Please update to 8.9.4 at your earliest convenience. It should be compatible with CNTools and JorManager. If you don't rely on those tools, you can live on the edge with 8.12.1. Both of these versions are approved for use and contain important patches.

I seem to notice a lot of this lately. Nami, Midnight, etc etc. Lots of amazing people are building and bringing new users, capabilities, and experiences into the ecosystem. IOG is a builder. We aren't different from any DApp company in Cardano. We have products and services and are here to bring millions into the ecosystem. I don't understand why when we start doing that and deploy millions in capital, some are actively hostile. It's also a bit frustrating when we are always open, direct, and transparent about plans and projects that somehow some place polar opposite motivations. Apparently CIP 1694 is some attempt to permanently maintain an oligarchy when it's the exact opposite. Lace is here to be the best wallet in the entire cryptocurrency space and expose all Bitcoin and Ethereum users over time to the Cardano ecosystem. So when we buy Nami to help accelerate a great simple user experience, this is bad for Cardano? Really? Midnight which makes Cardano the leader in data confidentiality tech is somehow abandoning Cardano!? If we are going for number 1, then we need to stop being drama queens and focus on building, partnering, and welcome new positive developments. People are here to do a job. The mission hasn't changed. Get it done.

@beaumont_dvd Why does the entire Cardano community seem to despise growth. Always attacking every move that happens in our ecosystem is getting old

WHY WE CHOSE TO BUILD ON CARDANO OVER ETHEREUM AND SOLANA 🛠️ Foundation: Cardano's research-first approach resonated with us. With over 90 academic papers, its foundation is peer-reviewed, ensuring robustness and long-term viability. Sustainability: Cardano's Proof-of-Stake (PoS) system is energy-efficient compared to Ethereum's former Proof-of-Work. We prioritize eco-friendliness and Cardano aligns with this vision. Upgradability: Cardano's approach to updates via hard fork combinator events is elegant. This allows the platform to implement significant changes without splitting the community. Economic Model: Cardano's extended UTXO (eUTXO) model provides better predictability in transaction costs, especially when Ethereum gas fees have been notably high in the past. Smart Contracts: With the introduction of Plutus, Cardano offers a robust platform for building complex dApps, backed by Haskell’s strong typing - minimizing errors and increasing security. Decentralization: Cardano's focus on true decentralization through its staking pools reduces central points of failure, an ideal we hold close. Global Outreach: Cardano’s commitment to financial inclusion, especially in Africa and other underserved regions, aligns with our vision for a more inclusive digital future. Interoperability: Cardano is not just about its own ecosystem. Its pursuit of becoming a "blockchain of blockchains" means better connectivity with other systems in the future. While Solana is fast and has great innovations, and Ethereum has undeniable first-mover advantage and network effects, Cardano's holistic approach felt right for our goals and aligned with our vision of the future. $ADA

Cardano boasts an impressive track record: no drops, hacks or depegging, and zero gas fee spikes. Plus, no VCs domination. Instead, it delivers a staggering high stake rate, 2000+ block nodes, a leading GitHub commit count and a permanent spot in the top 10 crypto list.

This tweet really strikes at the core of why Cardano is so powerful. It's not TPS with EUTXO, it's transactions per transaction. Our model is the most scalable, safe, and parallel computing friendly in the industry and is only getting faster

Does anyone know the decay rate of Ada rewards? I understood it to be similar to the BTC halving schedule. Every 4-6 years our Ada rewards should half. Can anyone confirm this information?
