@shubham703070 @BefittingFacts Worst fucking logic have I ever heard. My B.Tech batch, out 168, 11 students had name Abhishek Singh out of which 3 had same father's name. Banks don't act on guess work then require solid proof like Legal heir document. You can get from Patwari/Lekhpal.

THE REALITY OF THE ODISHA BANK INCIDENT Before blindly attacking the bank staff, let’s look at the actual facts on the ground: • Was he a direct nominee? No. • Did he produce a death certificate? No. • Did he initially tell the bank his sister was dead? No. • Can a bank legally hand over money to a third party without authorization? Absolutely no. The official bank clarification confirms that the man arrived in an "inebriated condition" and became disruptive. When he was told he needed valid documents for a death claim, he resorted to the deeply inhuman act of digging up the buried body and bringing it to the premises. The bank's sole intention was to protect a poor tribal woman's money from an unauthorized withdrawal. We can have empathy for the tragedy, but we need to stop vilifying bank employees for simply following the law and protecting customer deposits.

#Odisha | A #tribal man unearthed his dead #sister's #skeleton and staged protest in front of a rural bank with the skeleton to get back her deposited money. According to the police, the man went to the bank to withdraw the amount from his sister's account. But the bank official refused to pay, told him to collect the proof of death and other documents to withdraw the amount. Read here 🔗toi.in/IpiQEY7

@vishnusarda @BefittingFacts but no action on Gram Panchayat whose job was to issue death certificate promptly after the demise of the sister which they didn't do until the video surfaced. Truely you were a bank employee. Nice joke.

@BefittingFacts I was a government bank employee in past. I know the banking system how it works. Its pathetic, inhuman, lack of empathy and all harassment to illiterate and poor people. I wish someone from higher authority will take action on Bank staff.

@Crimino_Guy @BefittingFacts @TheOfficialSBI ...by saying I wasn't there and this BM accompanied my brother in fraud then BM will be fcuked. Has happened to many BMs who were being extra kind and supportive. There is a reason Banks don't trust people. One wrong step and you'll end up paying or your ass in jail or both.

@Crimino_Guy @BefittingFacts @TheOfficialSBI My father works in SBI still he can't just withdraw my deceased Nana's 27K by bypassing this rule. Affidavits get tossed in courts like a toilet paper it's just a sworn statement not a solid proof. If BM dispatches you money and later any of the legal heir objects by saying I ...

@BefittingFacts If bank wanted to establish brother sister relationship, why they didn't has for the man's adhar or PAN . Plus he is tribal man, he might not be having knowledge of the documentation process. Then what a govt bank do ? Aren't they supposed to assist such people?

@raghunair29 @BefittingFacts Do one thing, divert the Village Pradhan, Village secretary and Patwari's salary of that area to the branch Manager as these are their job to do (issuing death certificate or legal heir certificate) Even the most educated BM can do is ask for these doc which they did.

@BefittingFacts Don’t lose your credibility by trying to defend the indefensible. Imagine the harassment he must’ve undergone to take such a ghastly act. Bank officials are supposed to be more educated than that poor tribal.

@ajaytradezone @BefittingFacts He was not the nominee. He didn't produce death certificate. He wasn't the only legal heir; there were 2 more. Gram panchayat was sleeping, didn't bother to issue death certificate.

@BefittingFacts Why would any bank stop giving him money if he was the nominee & produced death certificate, banks process hundreds of such transactions daily, did people check if this guy produced all the legal documents or he dig the body to mount pressure on bank.

@Kailash57059662 @BefittingFacts You know there are people for such type of work, they are called gram panchayat officials. Their job is not limited to embezzling development funds but also to help poor villagers from who they beg for votes in election. We also have DLSA which provides free legal assistance.

This entire incident is just so painful to process. I know rural area bank workers lack empathy sometimes but we have to look at the rules too. They cannot just hand out cash to someone who is not the nominee without checking the papers. If they start doing that financial fraud would happen every single day. The most heartbreaking part for me is the hypocrisy. Everyone is a saint on social media giving long lectures but the people actually standing there did absolutely nothing to help the poor guy. It is just so depressing that things reached this level.

@Shivamm779 @Mrsinha First it's 6th largest economy. Secondly, it was gram panchayat officials who were sleeping. Bank is always ready to help. When govt saw this video, they reprimanded Gram Panchayat secretary to issue death certificate and legal heir certificate. There were 3 legal heirs.

@143chiranjeeb @Mrsinha Neither the anganwadi nor the banks issue death certificates. Anganwadi is day care for rural children. People like you with wrong knowledge will try to argue in bank. It's gram panchayat that issues death certificate. Village secretary issues it.

@psc2009 @parashah91 @Mrsinha Banks can't guide you on something which isn't under their jurisdiction. Process of issuing death certificate is subjected to gram panchayat. We don't even know who probably drove him crazy banker or gram panchayat secretary.

@parashah91 @Mrsinha I am not changing, but you are not understanding what I mean to say. Rules do matter , but the concerned person could have been properly guided and shown some empathy, instead of being pushed to such frustration by the system that he ended up digging up his sister's grave.

@MdMcTechnoinc78 @Akash85587000 @SatyaPrNayak You know the main problem? A govt official will fk your OVD like aadhar, pan, DL or voter ID with minor spelling mistakes and when it will get flagged by bankers during KYC verification, customers will misbehave with them. It's easier to blame bankers than corrupt govt officials.

A heartbreaking story from Keonjhar has shaken Odisha. Jeetu Munda, a poor villager from Mallipashi, lost his sister two months ago. ₹19,300 remained in her bank account. He reportedly made repeated visits to withdraw the money for urgent needs, but was told the account holder must come in person to sign. He kept explaining that she had died. No one listened. Left helpless by an insensitive system, he allegedly brought his sister’s skeletal remains to the bank just to prove the truth. Think about that. When rules are bent for corruption, files move fast. But when the poor need dignity, compassion and common sense, the system becomes rigid. This is not just one man’s tragedy. It is a mirror to governance, banking accountability and how India often treats its most vulnerable citizens. Odisha deserves answers. Who failed Jeetu Munda? And how many more suffer silently every day? Humanity should never require proof in bones. #Odisha #Keonjhar #Justice #BankingReform

Vo log documents issue krte waqt inke name ki spelling galat likh denge, address mein galti kr denge phir vo document jab bank wale dekhte hain toh dikkat hoti hai.

@MdMcTechnoinc78 @Akash85587000 @SatyaPrNayak That banker was dragged to court on multiple dates, his promotion suffered. He was transferred in different circle away from his home. So, do your job with caution rather than relying on morality. If tomorrow another heir turns up claiming d dead sister's money, BM'll be fucked.
