This behaviour by @TheOfficialSBI Branch Manager is simply not acceptable. If you are doing customer interface work in Karnataka, especially in a sector like banking , it is important to communicate to customers in the language they know. Being adamant like this is simply not right. I have time and again raised this issue of mandatorily posting local staff or staff who know the local language in banking operations, both inside and outside Parliament. Just a few weeks ago, at a Public Accounts Committee meeting, I had raised this issue to the DFS Secretary who assured me action will be taken to follow a office notification that makes this requirement of local language knowledge compulsory. Looks like this still isn’t being enforced properly. I urge the concerned at @TheOfficialSBI to immediately implement the DFS policy that mandates local language requirement. I have spoken to concerned authorities to take action against this manager who has behaved in this manner. Banks working in Karnataka should serve customers in Kannada. Period.

You're a people's representative, not Kannada representative. There are people speaking in Kannada over there as evident in video but this customer is creating scene unnecessarily. Banking is a transferable job. How can someone posted there from outside learn Kannada? How many languages will people have to learn then ? A translator can be requested if someone can't speak anything but native language but on what account are u asking for action against the officer?

सॉफ्टवेयर कंपनियों में भी कन्नड़ भाषा को अनिवार्य किया जाना चाहिए।
अगर अमेरिकी क्लाइंट्स को कर्नाटक में अपने प्रोजेक्ट्स करवाने हैं, तो उन्हें भी कन्नड़ में बात करनी चाहिए।
इस पर कोई समझौता नहीं होना चाहिए।

लड़की अपनी सहेली के साथ जा रही है. मनचला लड़का लड़की को रास्ते में जबर्दस्ती रोक कर जबरन किस करता है.
आज अगर इस लड़के को छोड़ दिया गया तो कल ऐसी घटना और करेगा. बलात्कार और लूटपाट भी करने का इसका हौसला बढ़ सकता है.
इस मनचले लड़के पर कार्यवाही जरूर होनी चाहिए. कैसे कोई जबरन किसी की भी बहन बेटी से ऐसी गिरी हुई हरकत कर सकता है.
