@integrity_to That entire sequence of cars probably has less people than 1 single bus. The Dufferin 29 has improved significantly, and far more people who actually live downtown take transit than drive. The bus is filled with the working class, unlike whoever runs this account

@integrity_to The red bus lanes are necessary and brilliant. If you rode the bus, then you would know how the red lanes have made the TTC a real option for travel. What is a stupid idea are the LRT on rails. They ALWAYS have problems. Busses are superior because they can drive around problems.

Way to go Toronto. Close the DVP between Jarvis and the 401, and then have a marathon on Front so nobody can access Jarvis, and then do nothing to let map applications know roads are closed. Then have all the re-routes be an extra hour because no light timing changes or traffic control is added. Oh, and then close down major parts of Line 2 and surely, Metrolinx can’t coordinate with the city either and so, let’s reduce GO Rail. Because who needs to travel north, south, east or west on Mothers Day. Because of course, we cannot expect government agencies to coordinate with each other, as if solving coordination problems isn’t a key function of government. So a 1hr drive to visit my mom I planned for 1.5hr has become nearly 2.5hr. Pure dysfunction, yet no one to hold accountable. Ontarians frustrated with the indifference of our governments towards the inconveniences they cause us, I see you. You’re right to demand higher standards.
