FY 26 Update: Capital: ~245L Gross Profit: ~91L Net Profit: ~82L (~33%) Max DD: ~10-11% (In Apr 25) Lowest % return (my 6th year in trading).

FY 25 Update: Capital: ~173 L Gross Profit: 118 L Charges: ~9L (Less than 8L showing, but my estimate was higher) Net Profit: ~109L (~63%) Max DD was ~8%, dont remember exactly. Anything above 30% is a good year for me, so no complaints (1/4)

@NiftyStrangle Tough phase. Need 1 month without any big loss. Last year i lost big in April and until may 15th. Since then till Dec was smooth. Will have to hope for better days, high charges is a additional burden

Discipline went for a toss today. Biggest hit in new FY 🥲 2.5%+ Was aggressively long in the morning, lost 1%. Then was neutral and lost 1.5%. Since Jan i am unable to get anything going. Jan - mar poor trading got covered in fy due to 2025 being ok. This FY is -ive now🙏

War is ending soon. Hoping for some stability from gap openings after tmr. Only some upside gap risk is left which should happen soon. Not only missed this high premiums opportunity, made losses too 😂 But hopefully entering a no major news period now and some consolidation

@BNstraddler Congrats!! Happy to see your update as you seem to be away from twitter (I am also not active as before😀). All the best for the new FY. Charges are quite low (assuming you are doing straddles!), so hopefully this FY STT increase can be less painful.

Hi @AlgoTest_in /Algotest users, Could anyone please explain, why the SL in Algotest Live has been calulated incorrectly as 0.1152%(73213.91) while the correct SL should be 0.25% (73312.46)? Strategy SL is 0.25% of underlying. Underlying value at Entry: 73129.64 Any solutions?

Charges are going to dent more this year, so not sure if i should change anything, will evaluate after 1-2 months. Overall, a good year though first and last quarter were poor. Need to build some confidence back as the March volatility took a toll on me mentally (4/4)

First FY that i had 2 red months (Apr 25 and Mar 26, Jan 26 was also on the border). I withdrew money every month, so no compounding like previous years. Capital for FY 2027 will remain around ~2.5-2.6 Cr. Amount may keep varying marginally but should be above 2.5 Cr. (3/4)

Until May mid, was in deep red. Then, till Dec was a golden period with low DD and decent returns. I had only 4-5 days of 1%+ losses. Jan was tough, ended flat, Feb was 1 day disaster and rest of the month very good, March took some hits overnight, but managed to close -1% (2/4)

My worst FY % return. Last year Apr to May 15 was the worst, then till Decemeber was overall fine with low DD (ok returns) Jan was too volatile intraday, ended flat. Feb apart from the big loss on 1 day, the rest of month was superb. Mar ended in a loss.

Biggest loss on the month will come tmr on call side after losing heavily on puts the entire month. This time my loss is capped at ~6%. March 26 will be a month which i will remember for a long time. Hopefully there will be some quiet months after this to have a recovery chance

My positional was deep red (was so far off!). Had to book quite a lot to take some pressure off from weekend. I underestimated the impact of oil prices by a huge extent. Week started a disaster, had a partial recovery and lost it again today. My worst FY in my trading journey!

Got saved multiple times this year. Today doesnt look like that. Today will redefine how i take (or not take) overnight May stop all overnight for the rest of the month and do only expiries. More than war, its the oil price, so have to be very cautious. Hopefully lesson learnt.

@rohit_yadav91 I entered positions on thursday closing again after exiting on Wednesday 😶 with big loss. Thursday got whipped intraday Friday dint exit and carried all positions in loss Tomorrow could be a disaster Nightmarish March. All loss days. Are you holding positions?

I feel so stupid taking overnight risk on a holiday. First day of a event risk is acceptable if you had overnight positions but after that it's stupidity So far Apr tariff last year was the biggest this FY, Feb trade deal was 2nd. Have a bad feeling on tmr crossing both

@EquityInsightss Once their app works, it may change its luck. Worst app, so difficult to navigate due to lag at every page. Inspite of all updates its still a third grade app. @firstcryindia It has a very good user base but very poor app and service
