@3_Sigma_Mindset It's a fair take: you describe the next decade, unless a violent change happens NOW (i.e., federalist EU or EU DOGE). The next decade could be volatility, FUD, and uncertainty. The point of my post was slightly different: you bought the ticket.

Everyone thinks Europe is finished. In 20 years, they'll wish they had bought in early. AGI takes over. Productivity is infinite. Everything is automated. So, tell me: what actually becomes scarce? NOT another piece of software — but authentic human experience. When machines handle everything, what do people crave? Beauty. Meaning. Significance. And Europe has been accumulating that for centuries. It's sitting on the most undervalued asset of the AI age: - 500+ UNESCO World Heritage sites (the US? 25) - The world's greatest museums - 50M+ cultural tourists in France alone - Centuries-old universities, libraries, cafés - The birthplace of opera, ballet, fine wine The real arbitrage? Owning land in places machines can't replicate. In the AI age, people will split into two groups: - New "landlords" stacking assets - New "renters" living off AI welfare (UBI, digital credits, whatever comes next) So where will the new “landlords” want to live? Not in a sterile AI-optimized city. Not in a hyper-efficient pod. They'll want Paris, Rome, Vienna. Cities that weren't built for algorithms, but for the soul. Europe today is like Bitcoin at $10—misunderstood, underpriced, and wildly asymmetric. I talk to global investors every day. The smartest ones see it: In an AI-dominated world, the ultimate luxury won't be another software tool. It'll be the ability to feel human. Europe has that. What's your take on this?

Feels like America is rapidly turning into Gotham City. If you're rich and don't mind paying $30 for a burrito, congratulations, life is great. You can Uber around town for $50, spend $100 on cocktails and some meal conceived by a "French visionary" but prepared by people working minimum wage, wear your quarter zip, and avoid getting set on fire on the subway. That's as good as it gets. But for everyone else, are things really that great? The fabric of American society for decades was the belief that things would get better. It wasn't just a belief, it was true; everyone was confident that their children would live a better life than they did. Does anyone believe that anymore? I don't think so (but if you do, I have a bridge to sell you). They spit out numbers to assure us things are on the right track, "Crime on the subway is down", "GDP per capita is up 5%", "The market is at record highs". A while ago, stuff like this actually meant something, people participated in the upside. Now, for most people it's meaningless. America is rapidly turning into a nation were people are commoditized, and own nothing. You don't own music, you don't own software, you don't own your house. You're just a little piggy getting milked by some dude who was unpopular in high school, and is still mad about it. Everything two years the prices, like clockwork, are "raised to be in line with broader inflation". It feels like everything from your bank, to your credit card, to your insurance, no longer works for you Something goes wrong, try getting a hold of them without going through a 30 Minute Third-World Obstacle course getting passed from "Customer Service Agent" to Customer Service Agent who knows nothing, but strangely likes to pretend they are in America. You work for them now. The sense of disillusionment only intensifies when you realize how bizarre the entire thing is. The people living in the concrete jungle lecture you about planting trees. The Private Jet Cop 25 squad tells you your gas stove will kill the planet. The Morality Police of Hollywood routinely get arrested for Child Trafficking, yet somehow no one ever really goes to prison. The geniuses in charge of NYC tell you that crime is down, and that paying Pakistan to rent a $220 Million Hotel to provide meals and debit cards to people bused into the city is somehow in your best interest. Deep down no one believes it, but strangely everyone almost everyone accepts it as true. You make people feel powerless, saddle them with 30% APR credit card debt, student loans they can't discharge, and a minimum wage job that barely covers rent and a bank account that pays them 0.01% as a "valued customer", and then blanket them on social media with 10 sec videos of people flying in private jets and "motivational videos" from gurus telling them it's their fault they are wage slaves? Why act surprised when they start to get wild? What did you think would happen? 2024 was a crazy year, looking forward to an even more crazy 2025... not sure what the purpose of this rant was, but a good question to ask yourself is "what is the end game", and is it really worth it.

I am all for stablecoins having 100% reserves for every single $ of their circulating supply. It's why I like $USDC so much. And it's kinda the heart of crypto. But the IRONY of governments, specifically right now the EU, wanting absolutely certainty that there are sufficient reserves for stable coins or face delisting is hilarious. Can we please have a guarantee of the sufficient reserve of cash if every citizen tried to cash out from the banks at the same time?

Using H1B visas to import genuine S tier .001% talent=good Using H1B visas as a cheaper alternative to hiring American workers=bad Am I crazy or is this the obvious reality? If I think about the "spirit" of America, that's what makes the most sense

One of our whales was just hacked, and 15 Gen1s were dumped into stink bids well below market price. This is a devastating way to end an already brutal year for the NFT market, but it raises a serious question: What can we do now that royalties have shifted to the buyer's side and bids exist? Previously, when someone was hacked, the NFT would be listed on the floor, and you could change the royalties to 98%, buy it back for them (since it was seller royalties), and then return it to the victim. Now, there’s no recourse. If you change the buyer royalties to a ridiculous number the NFTs are now perpetually stuck, so no one buys them, and we can’t help the victim. Even if we were to brick the NFT’s and freeze them on the market would the marketplaces open up their escrow and return them to us? there’s no functionality to report stuff as stolen instantly even as the collection owner and technically they were sold into legit consumers hands ( bid farmers money instantly) so it’s a little too late right? As a team and people who have been here for 3+ years daily it’s soul crushing seeing people you’ve developed relationships with get drained and there’s really nothing in the current landscape you can do about it. This is a message we hope reaches all founders out there who have dealt with similar and a call for a conversation to be had about theft and how we can help victims moving forward.

If you took all of the US billionaires’ wealth from them to fund the federal government it wouldn’t even fund it for a year. You’d get 8 months of federal spending.

@slugbussy @AFpost Hopefully you're joking, because it's American culture that made America so great. You guys realize we have the biggest film, music, entertainment industries in the world because we promote art and creativity right? Not everyone needs to be a fucking engineer.

Vivek Ramaswamy suggests Americans are being turned over for foreign workers because they are brought up in a lazy culture unlike Asian immigrants. “A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math olympiad champ, or the jock over the valedictorian, will not produce the best engineers.” Follow: @AFpost
