I respect Shaykh Uthman Ibn Farooq for his Dawah efforts, and I have spoken to him many times. I hold no ill will towards him, but the way he dealt with brother Daniel—what many might call an 'ambush'—was unfair and unethical. And I believe this isn't the first time.
As Muslims, we should be able to have one-on-one conversations despite our significant differences, without resorting to such unsolicited tactics. It's not about 'winning' but about better understanding each other’s positions so that the truth becomes clearer.
