@Muhammad_Okoye If Nigerian is a white country. Racism will be over the roof.

Bruv, I'm not doing this insulting with you. You have the luxury of insulting my tribe cause you probably don't have people you respect from there, however I can't do the same to you, cause I have too many people I respect from all tribes. So take a walk.

@Tesleemah_OD @Kemisiri_Yoruba I don't speak fluent English, but I think in Yoruba. Any topic I can't understand in Yoruba there is no way I can articulate it in English. When I can relate to the subject matter in Yoruba. I will translate my Yoruba to English and you will understand what I am trying to say.
English

@ade80840 This is so cool!
I saw a video on @Kemisiri_Yoruba 's page on enthalpy and entropy and I couldn't believe it was the same we were taught in school.
Actually, it is very cool to be able to speak and write English fluently. But our mother's language should always come first.

I saw a primary school in Osogbo. The teachers use Yoruba even while teaching English. For two consecutive years that I saw the common entrance results. None of those students score less 60% in English and mathematics. Other factors might be involved tho.

I saw a patient yesterday, I was explaining bifocals in English, then I remembered this man told me he is Yoruba. I just told him, Daddy é jéka salaye ni Yoruba. Everything flows afterward. Yoruba is very interesting and sweet!

Dear Muslim,
Part of the most shocking events on the Day of Resurrection would be the sight of those who others have in their own judgement condemned to Hellfire walking majestically into the Garden of Eden.
Similarly, the sight of those who many think would be going to paradise walking shamefully into Hellfire would be very shocking to many.
Where will you be? Where will I be?
Take it easy on people. Never say that anyone is in Hell or certainly going to Hell when they have died with faith in their hearts. Be concerned about yourself and think about what would become of you in the hereafter because in the end, God alone is the Judge, His judgement is just and He does as He wills.

@IJOBAFUFU @tosinraj In Islam the first step to Justice is vengeance. Eye for an eye. If you are unable to get vengeance then ask Allah to get it for you. You don't need to ask but it makes you feel better when you do. Talking to Allah is our therapy.
English

This FBI matter with @tosinraj reminds me of the story of When Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH), was to be burnt by his people but he came out unhurt. Many people still choose not to believe. They called her a terrorist so she can be deported now even FBI confirmed she's a victim of .....
English

@IJOBAFUFU @tosinraj There is something called justice and Allah is Impartial with it. When you oppress another person who decides to not take vengeance. Then Allah will take vengeance on her behalf. There is nothing wicked about it. It's Justice
English

@tosinraj Do you know you are being wicked with this words you u have said.
So does Allah do Bad things if you take the case to Allah?.

*Friday Talks with Sambo Fatiu: If Gold Rusts...*
The metaphor of gold rusting and iron facing a similar fate serves as a powerful allegory for the erosion of purity and integrity. It encapsulates a profound insight into the vulnerability of values in the face of corruption and decay.
If "gold rust" clearly applies to the Muslim households today, it is especially not uncommon in the circle of the Muslim scholars. Amongst the Yoruba-speaking Muslims, scholars are referred to as Alfa(s) — clerics. Anyone who goes by the tag "Alfa" is usually held in high esteem, given recognition in private and public, and expected to be of good conduct. It is believed that the Alfa knows better than the layman Muslim. He teaches Islam in its purest form and lives by these teachings to serve as an example and role model. If the Alfa we trust is foul in his dealings and found wanting, then what is there to wonder about if the layman Muslim yields to lust?
Last week, a suspected ritualist with the "Alfa" identity was reported to have killed a final-year student of the Kwara State College of Education in Ilorin, Kwara State. The suspect, after the gruesome killing, dismembered her body for alleged ritual purposes. This is one of the many atrocious happenings going on with people regarded as Alfas.
The pious predecessors are known to correct irresponsible behaviour, speak against corruption, rituals, fornication, and promoting justice, good governance, and piety, among others. Sadly, those who were once seen as virtuous have now succumbed to evil opportunities for sharp practices. They collide with fraudsters to swindle, lie, gamble, fornicate, and kill for rituals. Just name a sin, go to Facebook/Tiktok, and you will find a number of acclaimed Alfas engaging in these shenanigans.
In the past, it was easy to successfully raise a pious family because the society itself supported the efforts made by parents/families. Parents and children were surrounded by positive role models; the children go to madrasah, and it shapes their way of life. However, in recent times, we do not even know who to trust again. Everything has changed dramatically, and these changes have produced powerfully negative effects on family units and the society at large.
As we continue to live in a very worrisome time, one would continue to ponder on the words of Geoffrey Chaucer that "if gold rusts, what shall the iron do? If the islamic scholars do not stand to their responsibilities, we can expect no better from others.
In the last one week, I have meditated on what possible solution can put an end to the disgrace some Alfas are bringing to themselves and to Islam, and I have come to the realisation that everything goes back to the family. The Islamic family heritage is one that must not be allowed to die. If the family unit pleases Allah and possesses good character and conduct, other families in the neighbourhood and community will be positively influenced. It is like a ripple effect when numerous families are like this, and ultimately, the society will benefit and reform itself. Strong family bonds decrease anti-social behaviour and crime. It creates a community in which members help one another in piety and righteousness.
To keep the society flourishing, weed out problems within the family before they take root and, nip family discord in the bud. The scholars are the gold, and the family is the iron. Sadly, when the gold is rust, what should we expect of the iron?
