if you come to Kolkata, the best way to treat yourself is to tick off all the museums, and also visit the planetarium. The city has so much to offer intellectually, and seeing a billionaire take his entire family to my hometown, just makes my heart melt

A bunch of us travelled to Kolkata with our families and visited the Victoria Memorial and the Indian Museum. My first proper museum trip in Kolkata, and it’s easily the best museum city in India. The Victoria Memorial, conceived by Lord Curzon after the death of Queen Victoria in 1901 and opened in 1921, is stunning as architecture. But seeing it in India feels a bit off. Built with Indian money and marble from Rajasthan, it’s also a reminder of the scale of extraction during British rule. The Indian Museum is something else altogether. The range of archaeology, fossils, art, and anthropology is incredible. You can spend hours and still not be done. Sharing this because we don’t really have a strong museum-going culture in India. Maybe the long stretch of British rule has something to do with it. But if there are two museums to start with, these are a must-visit.

Spent a few days in New York catching up with folks:
1.) Few have heard of Mythos
2.) While people have heard of Claude Code, few have tried Cowork or knows what a skill is
3.) Many F500 non tech companies here aren’t getting any value out of AI because of politics
4.) Too many companies have too much AI slop esp in product roles, removing AI now
5.) Lot of “Gemini” shops since it’s bundled
6.) The same people firing people because of AI are also the same people that still want their decks sent to them as a PDF / printed on desk
This technology will take a longer to diffuse than SF tech twitter thinks

i grew up in delhi dreaming of building tech millions of people couldn't live without. today, @wisprflow is officially live in india! before this launch, i flew to india to answer one question: does wispr flow actually work here? in the back of an auto with horns blaring. a mumbai gym with punjabi music at full volume. a dhaba with the waiter rattling off the menu faster than you can type. we went and found out - it worked every single time. india became our second biggest market on its own. we 3x'd growth in 3 months with no campaigns or partnerships. people just found wispr flow organically and made it part of their daily life. the least we could do was show up for them properly. so we're launching wispr flow in india with hinglish & android support. because it's the way i've spoken my whole life. and the way everyone around me still does. grateful to my co-founder @sahajgarg6, our india lead @findingnimo_, and everyone who made this possible.
