I mean, the prime example is Nathan Dyer. An unproven young winger without a track record and something of a legal cloud over him went on to become a stone cold club legend.

The last time we rose through the leagues we prided ourselves on our "broken toys" approach. Signing players who had talent but hadn't kicked on elsewhere, but then found a home here. If it is Idah I'm prepared to give him a chance to prove himself.
