@ClayTravis How often does Nashville get snow and ice like you just had? Guessing once every 20 years or so. The city probably has a plan for it, but they don’t invest in the equipment because it’s not cost feasible. Also likely nobody in local government with experience in such situations.

And, sadly, many people lack the resources to go elsewhere and have suffered in the brutal cold without power for a week now. Indefensible performance by people in positions of authority.

I don’t live in Davidson County. (Williamson County here.) But his performance in this storm has been truly awful. Nashville deserves better. And @NESpower’s incompetence has forced hundreds of thousands of people to spend tons of money on hotel rooms. It’s shameful.
