It’s time for the @RedSox to fire Alex Cora. Several of the games they’ve lost this year are due to serious management mistakes. First off, adamant opposition to allowing Chapman to go more than 3 outs is costing the team bigly (like again tonight). Second, his pinch hit decisions have proven costly (like having Abreu hit for Refsnyder in a high impact situation). Plenty of other management mistakes too. Not everything is his fault. But a lot of this is management. Red Sox need to if they’re going to salvage this season tap a new manager. I’d suggest Jason Varitek. But there are plenty of good options out there.
