Ще одна ніч, яка доводить, що Росія не заслуговує на будь-яке пом’якшення глобальної політики та зняття санкцій. Росія робить ставку на війну, і саме такою має бути відповідь – потрібно захищати життя всіма силами й потрібно тиснути заради миру теж усіма силами. Я вдячний тим у світі, хто працює з нами так і хто допомагає Україні вчасно, повноцінно та відчуваючи, що кожен прояв підтримки справді має значення для порятунку людей. Дякую Німеччині, Норвегії та Італії, з якими ми вже досягли нових домовленостей про підтримку нашої ППО. Працюємо з Нідерландами щодо додаткового постачання. Вранці була доповідь командувача Повітряних сил Збройних Сил України. Було майже 700 російських дронів за день і вечір напередодні та за ніч. Також були ракети: 19 балістичних і ще крилаті ракети цієї ночі. Більшість балістики – проти Києва. Вдалося збити 636 дронів і частину ракет. На жаль, не всі. Є влучання та пошкодження звичайних будинків. На жаль, є загиблі в Одесі, Києві та Дніпрі. Серед загиблих – хлопчик, 12 років йому було. Мої співчуття рідним та близьким… Станом на цей час відомо і про 100 поранених через одну цю російську масовану атаку. Жодної нормалізації такої Росії бути не може. Тиск на Росію повинен працювати. І важливо вчасно виконувати кожну обіцянку допомоги для України. Є багато політичних зобов’язань партнерів, які вже були озвучені, але ще не реалізовані. В тому числі у форматі «Рамштайну» та на двосторонній основі. Доручив командувачу Повітряних сил зв’язатися з тими партнерами, які раніше давали обіцянки щодо ракет для «петріотів» та інших систем. Очікую на доповідь за результатами.

Another night has proven that Russia does not deserve any easing of global policy or lifting of sanctions. Russia is betting on war, and the response must be exactly that: we must defend lives with all available means, and we must also apply pressure for the sake of peace with the same full force. I am grateful to those in the world who work with us in this way and who help Ukraine in a timely and comprehensive manner, fully aware that every act of support truly matters for saving lives. I thank Germany, Norway, and Italy, with whom we have already reached new agreements on supporting our air defense. We are working with the Netherlands on additional supplies. In the morning, I received a report from the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Nearly 700 Russian drones were launched over the previous day, into the evening, and throughout the night. There were also missiles – 19 ballistic ones, as well as cruise missiles during the night. Most of the ballistic missiles targeted Kyiv. 636 drones and some of the missiles were shot down. Unfortunately, not all. There were hits and damage to ordinary residential buildings. Tragically, there are fatalities in Odesa, Kyiv, and Dnipro. Among those killed is a boy – he was 12 years old. My condolences to the families and loved ones. As of now, 100 people are reported wounded as a result of this single massive Russian attack. There can be no normalization of Russia as it is today. Pressure on Russia must work. And it is important to fulfill every promise of assistance to Ukraine on time. There are many political commitments by partners that have already been announced but not yet implemented – including within the Ramstein format and on a bilateral basis. I have instructed the Commander of the Air Forces to contact those partners who earlier committed to providing missiles for Patriot and other systems. I expect a report on the results.

With Italy’s Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto, we discussed cooperation in the defense sector and possible formats of such partnership – both bilateral and multilateral with partners in Europe. Ukraine is ready to cooperate within the SAFE instrument. We also spoke about strengthening our air defense. Russia continues its daily terror against Ukraine and our people, and it is important to constantly reinforce Ukrainian air defense with the timely supplies of missiles. We agreed to continue work on preparing the Drone Deal and defining all areas of cooperation. We have significant potential for a defense partnership, and it must be realized. I thank Italy for its political, military, and diplomatic support since the very beginning of Russia’s full‑scale invasion.

President of Italy Sergio Mattarella @Quirinale and I discussed the security situation in Ukraine, across our Europe, and also in the Middle East and the Gulf region. I gave an overview of our agreements with countries of the region regarding security cooperation. It is important to develop a joint protection system in Europe as well. Particular attention was given to the assistance needed for Ukraine’s energy resilience, the unblocking of the decision on the €90 billion financial package for Ukraine, the 20th package of sanctions against Russia, and the negotiation clusters on Ukraine’s accession to the European Union. I thank Italy for its help to Ukraine’s energy sector during this difficult winter. I thank the President for his unwavering, principled position in support of Ukraine and our people.

План закупок оружия для Украины будет выполнен, заявил генсек НАТО Марк Рютте. "Я уверен, что мы сможем профинансировать поток поставок из США", - отметил он после заседания Контактной группы по Украине (формат "Рамштайн") в Берлине. Рютте также отверг опасения, что война с Ираном приведет к сокращению объема поставок американского оружия для Украины. Поток поставок из США продолжается, повторил он свои слова, сказанные еще в марте. При этом Рютте призвал страны альянса не "упускать из виду" войну в Украине и увеличить поддержку Киева до 60 млрд долларов в 2026 году. В рамках механизма приоритетных закупок для Украины (PURL) страны НАТО и их союзники приобретают американские вооружения для Киева, в том числе для противовоздушной обороны от российских ударов, пакетами по 500 млн долларов. По оценкам НАТО, в этом году Киеву потребуются закупки по этому механизму на сумму не менее 15 млрд долларов. Министр обороны ФРГ Борис Писториус выразил "большое удовлетворение" тем, что на встрече в Берлине вновь удалось собрать средства в поддержку Украины. As always, a good and productive meeting with Prime Minister of Norway @jonasgahrstore. We discussed in detail our cooperation in the production and use of drones. Our experience is already being used in the Middle East and the Gulf. We are improving defense against “shahed” drones, and we believe this should also be done in Europe. Today, for this purpose, we initiated a Drone Deal with Norway and signed a Joint Declaration on Enhanced Defense and Security Cooperation. Now our teams will work out the details. We also focused on our joint production projects and cooperation priorities for this year, and not only in defense. We continue to work together with partners to strengthen our countries. I personally thank Jonas, Norway, and all Norwegians for their military and energy support for Ukraine, for strengthening our air defense, and for their readiness to continue support for the PURL initiative. We feel your support and are sincerely grateful for it.

Federal Chancellor of Germany @bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz and I held intergovernmental consultations for the first time in more than 20 years. Our relations are already at the level of a true strategic partnership, and the resumption of consultations will help us move even faster. We discussed concrete results and plans for the future. The main focus was on the documents signed today, a significant part of which is aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities and resilience, developing the bilateral agreement on drones proposed by Ukraine to Germany, and addressing issues related to Ukraine’s future membership in the European Union. Much joint work lies ahead. I thank Germany for its support and readiness to move forward together.

Ahead are talks with Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, meetings with Crown Prince Haakon of Norway and with Norwegian parliamentarians. We continue active diplomacy with our partners for the sake of protecting lives and bringing closer a real and guaranteed peace.
