before taking thyroid- potatoes, coffee, and magnesium were three things that used to make me involuntarily sleep for 1-2 hours. presumably because of how anti stress these things are for energy production. similarly, each dose of thyroid i took for the first few days would send me in to this multi hour coma like state.
