They give you lectures like: - Why don't your cook your own food? - Other restaurants also serve sub-par food? Why can't you be more positive? - Who spends 5000Rs/person for dinner. What do you do? You simply move on to better restaurants. ***** This story is no different from paying taxes. Honest taxpayer's job is to pay taxes. Government's job is to generate decent ROIs on those taxes. That's where the relationship ends. There is no higher purpose here for the government or for you. If one person does their job honestly, but the other does not. It is a toxic relationship. People (who can afford to walk out) simply choose to walk out of toxic relationships.
