But no one can deny that his act was triggered by Gandhiji’s unacceptable Muslim appeasement policies that played a big role in the partition of Bharat. My book ‘ Veer Savarkar : The man could have prevented partition’, co-authored with @Chirayu1857 , offers the most authentic take on Gandhiji. It praises him for his good work like inclusive social reform, Gram Swaraj, Trusteeship principle in which India’s CSR model is rooted, apart from Swachha Bharat & other positive works. But we have proved in the book that Gandhiji’s principles of complete non-violence & Hindu-Muslim unity at any cost were the two key reasons behind Bharat’s partition as Muslim League took full advantage of these principles to achieve its goal of Pakistan. Senior Right Wing/ Hindutva leaders like @umasribharti ji are supposed to put history in right perspective as it is correct history & lessons learnt from it that will play big role in making of great Bharat. If they don’t have the courage to speak the truth they should keep quiet. In fact, on the eve of partition day we should be debating what were the reasons behind Bharat’s partition.
