IMPORTANT LETTER ON FATAL UGC RULES Honorable Prime Minister of India @narendramodi @PMOIndia , I write to urgently request an immediate rollback of the newly proposed UGC campus rules. The draft is structurally irrational, operationally hazardous, and distracts from UGC’s core failure to deliver world-class higher education rooted in Bharatiyata even after nearly eight decades of independence. This year marks the 100th year of the assassination of Swami Shraddhanand, who stood against conversion mafias and was described by Baba Saheb Ambedkar as the greatest champion of the untouchables. These rules manufacture division within society, enable conversion cartels, and run against the essence of Swami Shraddhanand’s sacrifice and Baba Saheb’s uncompromising resistance to conversion cartels. A. STRUCTURAL DEFECTS 1. Birth-based caste framework is anti-Vedic and irrational The draft institutionalizes inherited labels instead of regulating conduct through objective standards and enforceable law. It manufactures fault lines, not safety. 2. Religion is explicitly enabled as a complaint trigger The rules permit religion as a basis for complaints and allow OBC, SC, ST complainants to proceed against UC students. This hard-wires religion into campus discipline. 3. OBC demographics create structural asymmetry by state design OBC lists vary by state. In states such as West Bengal and Karnataka there is active expansion to include nearly every Muslim as OBC. Nationally, nearly 60 percent of eligible Muslims are considered OBC, without logical justification and without formal studies. OBC has effectively become a tool of vote-bank politics. Once caste and religion become complaint levers, asymmetry becomes policy. 4. Primary beneficiary profile and misuse pathway The draft structurally benefits Muslim students classified as OBC the most, because the minority card can now be played in the garb of caste discrimination. Objections to Tableeghi agendas, conversion activity, or Love Jihad plans can be countered through complaint escalation. 5. Fatal flaw: zero consequences for false, frivolous, or malicious complaints The draft contains no provision for penal action against complainants even when complaints are proven false or frivolous. This is not a minor gap. It makes harassment a rational strategy. - A complainant can file repeated complaints, including daily complaints, and force the system to re-trigger action each time. - The accused suffers the entire procedural cost, while the complainant bears no cost. - This enables deliberate torture through paperwork, not justice through evidence. 6. Process becomes punishment: mandatory trigger + long cascade + unlimited escalation Action must initiate within 24 hours. Enquiries can cascade across multiple stages, time extensions, police involvement, and further escalation to higher authorities at the discretion of the complainant. There is no finality safeguard. The framework becomes an open-ended harassment pipeline. 7. Complaints extend even to applicants Complaints can be filed against applicants seeking admission, even if admission is not granted. Vulnerability begins at the application stage itself. 8. Target profile: Hindu students, General Category Hindus, and Hindu girls With no deterrent against false complaints, no checks against misuse, and religion as a complaint basis, the framework enables targeting of Hindu students, harassment of General Category Hindus, and coercive targeting of Hindu girls. 9. ST category composition and historical conversion pattern ST category includes Kashmiri Muslims and large numbers of recent Christian converts. Since the era of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, missionary networks have targeted tribals using inducement, miracle healing camps, prayer meetings, and denigration of indigenous beliefs, while opposing government schools and blocking alternatives, supported by large funding flows. The draft converts objections to such activity into complaint vulnerability. 10. Shift from criminal law to administrative complaint warfare Earlier, unlawful conversion activity could be addressed through arrests and criminal law. The draft replaces that with administrative complaint leverage, reducing accountability and increasing harassment power. 11. Presumption of guilt against UC and Hindu-aligned groups The system treats UC students as default offenders. Hindu-aligned SC, ST, and OBC students also become vulnerable, while those aligned with hostile ideological agendas gain operational leverage. 12. Redundancy: existing law already covers caste crimes There are already laws and commissions to deal with caste-related crimes. This new layer is unnecessary and structurally draconian. 13. UGC failure and misdirection UGC has reduced universities to poor-quality, British-inspired outdated pseudo-higher education. People attend largely because degrees are compulsory for careers. The draft is a diversion from fixing education quality. It signals that UGC is governing identity-conflict rather than academic excellence. 14. Legitimization concern on campuses The combined effect of OBC demographic manipulation, religion-based complaint triggers, and zero penalty for false complaints will legitimize Love Jihad on campuses by making objections administratively punishable. 15. Alternative pathway ignored Degrees should be made optional, with recruitment via competitive examinations, enabling capable students to self-study after Class 12 and become smarter without being forced into unsafe, low-quality UGC-governed campuses. Especially after such irrational laws that will govern student's life from application to completion of degree in a college. STAKES 1. Student safety risk escalates, especially for girls, and existing campus programs addressing communal gender crimes are undermined. 2. Psychological destruction through punishment-by-process, regardless of truth. 3. Silencing of lawful objection to unlawful conversion and coercive agendas. 4. Campuses degrade into complaint-driven, police-linked environments. 5. National implications spanning human rights, demographic balance, and security. POLICY ACTIONS REQUESTED 1. Immediately scrap the UGC campus rules in full. 2. Fix accountability for officials who drafted and approved the draft. 3. Permanently disband UGC and comprehensively overhaul the Ministry of Education. 4. Correct category distortions by removing Muslims from OBC lists and Christians from ST lists. 5. Make degrees optional and shift recruitment to competitive examinations, if these UGC rules are to govern colleges. 6. Reorient all ministries to counter unlawful conversion activity and communal gender crimes. Swami Shraddhanand's 100 year old balidaan calls for this as similar divisive forces are getting active by day. 7. End the presumption of guilt against UC students and Hindu-aligned groups. 8. We run campus safety programs for the protection of girls from communal gender crimes. This draft enables abuse of process and can undo hard-won work on the ground. Rollback is urgent. With respect and urgency, Sanjeev Newar

Well said. One dimension missing in this picture is that most relevant and differentiated context is deeply embedded into first party interactions and spread across multiple enterprise systems. Mere second or third party data is outside the ring of fire. Inside, legacy CRMs continue to Identity building stripping away tremendous context. Date stores are handicapped on their ability to control and orchestrate delivery of experience even if they have context. Plus the latency penalties will still mean much gap on the ROI realization. Enterprise’s their own proprietary quarterbacks - true systems of intelligence. @FirstHive

Someone needs to build a company around Customer Context Graph. Collect all the threads – emails, meeting transcripts, slack messages, contracts, deliverables, detail, info, and config – from your customers into context that can be explored and queried by agents. This info is scattered between CRMs, ticketing systems, note takers, product, landing pages – it's inherently cross platform information. You need a new solution. Kind of how Segment did it trad SaaS apps. With this context, you can fire up Claude Cowork or similar for ad-hoc work or build extremely powerful agent automation flows. Expose the context as skills, MCP, and file system. Even better if you build it as open-source with a hosted option so people can take it on-prem as needed. Create a connector ecosystem around it. This will power every single next-gen AI-native full-stack business. Sort of like the context graph (@ashugarg @JayaGup10 ) that has been discussed recently but I'm thinking something very concrete: "Get me all the context about this particular customer." A customer-level, cross-system context substrate that agents can explore and act on

The opening video and the theme of the keynote on partner led by Dr. Ruba Borno @awscloud was fantastic. Talks about how AWS is ushering in innovations with partners across industries to drive customer experience. Sanjay Bhakti talking about Condé Nast’s story of CX transformation is one such example! Great advice on how Data strategy and core identity is core to deliver personalization and meaningful customer experiences. @CondeNast @vishalsukheja @FirstHive @jtsmarketingguy @databricks

Some days as a founder, I wake up wondering if I'm doing enough. Could I do more? Should I do more? These questions can eat you up from inside if you let them. The constant hustle, the pressure to deliver, the weight of other people’s expectations can become overwhelming after a while. Over time, I’ve learned that the journey of building something meaningful is not only about strategy, execution, and resilience. It is also about faith. I didn’t turn to spirituality for escape. I turned to it for answers that balance sheets and board meetings couldn’t give me. Faith taught me something simple: how to work without drowning in the work, how to care deeply without being destroyed by caring. Today is Mokshada Ekadashi, also Gita Jayanti. On this day, thousands of years ago, Krishna spoke the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna right in the middle of the Kurukshetra battlefield. Think about Arjuna’s state of mind at that moment. Warriors lined up on both sides, conches blowing, arrows ready, and here was one of the greatest warriors of all time, completely paralysed by doubt and dharma-sankat. He put down his divine bow, the Gandiva, and told Krishna he couldn’t go on, that the fear and confusion were too much. That's when Krishna spoke right there in the middle of chaos. And what he said became the manual for how to live: नेहाभिक्रमनाशोऽस्ति प्रत्यवायो न विद्यते। स्वल्पमप्यस्य धर्मस्य त्रायते महतो भयात्॥ (In this path, no effort is ever wasted, nothing is ever lost. Even a little practice of this dharma saves you from great fear.) What a beautiful promise for every soul who wonders if their efforts matter! The Gita talks about dharma (doing what you must do), about working without obsessing over results, and also about staying steady whether you are winning or losing. The Gita is probably the only management book you’ll ever need because it teaches you how to act when action seems impossible, how to decide when every option looks complicated, how to keep going when stopping seems like a saner choice. To every founder, every creator, and everyone fighting their own battles today: your doubt is valid, your exhaustion is real, but so is your strength. May you find what Arjuna found: clarity in the chaos, purpose in the struggle and peace in the doing. Blessed Mokshada Ekadashi and Gita Jayanti to all. ❤️ Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya 🙏
