The overwhelming feeling I have about Remco Evenepoel joining Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe is... chaos.
The team already had people management problems this year, and now Remco joins after Lipowitz podiumed the Tour de France, and half the staff is getting replaced with no proven chemistry between every link in the chain.
The individual aspects for success, and the budget are there, but combining them into a succesful team, with this many changes, will be a project.

@warriors Bro just clocked off and he now has to do a 3 point contest

@_wavyboy @abdurrahman_MML @vini_ball It's just suggestion for how you could fit the best 11 on the pitch (that's why I put ? next to Davies). In reality Ancelotti (if he were to play 3-4-3) would probably play a back line of Rudiger, Tchouameni, Militao and Kroos as 6. Assuming Kroos stays and no CB is signed.

@adiwonderr @abdurrahman_MML @vini_ball Bro....Carvajal is on the right. He's got 11 on the pitch and forgot the goalie makes it 12.
🤣🤣🤣🤣

@samesfandiari I feel Steph still believes there's a "one last dance" moment in them that could end with a finals or something in the next couple of years. And he always hinted he wants to have a nice arc to his career and stick with the core until the end, no matter the results.
English

I would be disappointed if the last few years of his prime were on a team without a shot at contention. But it wouldn't change my perception of players who contributed what they contributed.

I see a lot of Warriors fans saying stuff like, “Steph deserves another contending team, front office has to make it happen.” Genuinely curious, if Steph was like, “Pay Klay, keep us all together until the end, we’ve earned it.” Would fans back off and agree?

@Alan_Couzens Hi Alan. Which resource do you use to correlate VO2max values with running times? Thanks.
English

8 min would likely put your VO2max in the high 30s. Unless you're very, very old, not good enough.
I think you can do better.
In line with our target of holding 50 ml/kg/min for as long as possible...
I'm going with 6 minutes.

This is a good question. My two cents: Men should be able to run a mile in 8 minutes or less. Women could have the same goal. Maybe 30-40 seconds slower. #runchat #running What’s your fastest time? I ran a paltry 4:32 in high school.
English

@Alan_Couzens Hi Alan. If I want to best approximate my VO2max using the VDOT table, I should rather run a shorter distance (e.g. 1500m) than a longer one, so as to minimise the effect of running economy disparity, am I right? Thank you.
English

This is not a dig at Daniels, btw.
Assuming the same economy for all runners was an intentional part of the whole VDOT concept, so runners could be compared against each other in a "common currency"
But it does mean that runners with actual economies worse than the assumption can't use VDOT and VO2max interchangeably.
