My prediction, Talarico and Hinojosa edge out a victory in Texas. Texas is not actually a red state it is a moderate state.
Red has just been seen as the more stable option the last few decades due to the identity politics of the far left extremists which are voices that the liberal democrats have been championing to make them the face of the progressive movement to shut out actual progressive policies.
That’s no longer the case as republicans have moved to far right extremism as a response and we see a rising of what Id like to call 3/4 left. Reasonable progressives that understand social issues can’t be the lead. They will naturally follow successful economic policies. I feel like Talarico is that 3/4 left. There has never been a better time for him as more people from the middle right and right leaning libertarians and right leaning unaffiliated voters become disenfranchised and politically homeless due to the extremism of the MAGA Cult. Many feel betrayed and plan to either stay home of vote left out of vengeance to give MAGA a wake up slap. I’m calling it for Talarico.
Anybody from Texas knows that Abbott is a useless, spineless, sellout failure. That one is self explanatory.
