@adrianfromwt Sorry for the inconvenience. Please reach out to me via email hi@shadcndesign.com on what license you are trying to purchase and I will send you a link to alternate payment provider.
English

@matsugfx I'm relly trying to purchase a license for shadcndesign.com but your lemonsqueezy checkout is hopelessly broken. Any chance you have an alternate means of checking out?
English

@lemonsqueezy did you know your checkout is currently broken?

We’re investigating an issue with one of our upstream providers that's causing 500/504 errors on some hosted sites and preventing some users from publishing or accessing the Webflow Dashboard.
Our team is working urgently to restore full functionality. We appreciate your patience 💙

@chris_bytes_x @webflow @leinwand Had this on prior to migrating the domains to their "new and improved" hosting. I guess it somehow got left on for that website, but the homepage is still alive and I think it's because of that...

@mhddngs Can't believe all these years later I run into this. Thank you for your tip, it probably saved me hours of going crazy. Here's the screenshot of how this looks in zapier, works flawlessly

@KatieKeithBarn2 He didn’t respect your time… videos work well for showing a client the final work or walking them through a project, but for intros and business proposals I think the punchline at the top and details underneath is a winning formula
English

I'm noticing that that more and more people are sending me personal videos with proposals for working together, e.g. last week I received a 22-minute video from someone I didn't know proposing a collaboration 😩. I hate watching videos as I like to do things on my own time, e.g. skim reading to get straight to the point. I used AI to summarize the video (thanks to @verygoodplugins for the suggestion), and then declined the proposal because I figured that our communication styles weren't compatible.
How do you manage different communication styles in your work?

@BrettFromDJ That’s awesome! I got most of my clients through my network and referral programs. Was barely able to finish my website and it started. Don’t underestimate your existing network, wherever they may be 😉
English

@BrettFromDJ Yep, I was a skeptic too, but then I got my first client 15 min after setting my website live. It makes sense for a lot of people and there's so many ways to sell it.
English

@murphywuwu Brilliant design. I would say close to $200k but there's a small bug with what appears to be the encryption feature block. It keeps scrambling and doesn't unscramble when it scrolls into view. Other than that 🔥🔥🔥
English

😎How much do you think this landing page
is worth?
$500K?$100K?$100?💰💰💰

@BrettFromDJ I started with 10 now I’m at 6 spots left… it’s out there on my website and that tells clients I’m focused on quality. I also increase my price after every signup.

@bretwp That's a good analogy. Mostly, I get that question from someone who has no idea; in that case, I like to give them a starting point and say it goes from there, here's what's possible based on what I already built for other similar sites...
English

How much does a website cost?
Well, that depends...
My favorite analogy is "How much does a house cost?"
You can start with the budget and work backwards, or you can start with the features and figure out the budget.
- is it a reno or a new build?
- how big is it?
- what features does it need?
- are we using your team or ours?
There's a lot to unpack, but I can at least tell you how much it costs to start talking about it.

@matifanger Bahahaha that's amazing! You just need to carry a giant keyboard in your pocket. Love it 😂

@wpbeginner I found that no matter how hard you try and what plugins you use, on mobile, popups will always cause problems for a percentage of your audience. If that contact form is important, I would always (at least for mobile) place it on a separate page... 🙂
English

Contact #forms are great for communicating with your visitors 👥
Placing them in a #popup makes it even easier for your customers to contact you about your products and services ✔️
Here's how to add a #contact form popup in #WordPress: wpbeg.in/41ap1vk

@iamkirillart That’s awesome! lol, I did the same thing not too long ago. Took me about an hour to finally get it to be on the same page. Did it get it right on the first prompt for you?
English

I put ChatGPT to work, giving it a few keywords and asking for 10 project name ideas. Guess what? One of them struck gold — and the domain was free! ✨ #buildinpublic
English

@bretwp I thought the same thing, but in my experience, if you constantly exceed their expectations, they will forgive the occasional slip-up. Depends on how you handle the slip-up as well 😅
English

@ezsmith397 I like the concept of a sliding scale in terms of adopting something like this 🤔. Thank you for your insight I really appreciate it, and lots of growth moving forward!
English

@adrianfromwt I'm a fan of it overall...
It's also not black and white the way you're probably looking at it.
Productization is a sliding scale, I do quite a bit of more productized stuff every month (and have for years), it's just not all on a "buy now stripe" link 😂
English

@nickwilmot @HowellsMead We rename admin to “developer” and then rename “editor” to “admin.” The developer role makes them scared to install plugins :-)
