@Trshipman What a great idea! It is so important for youth to be able to come to a college campus and see what it's really like! It instills desire and optimism in them early on! I know that many kids in Salisbury feel that it's impossible for them to get to SU! #SUSocialWork #EpgilheanyS18

@MaggieMcMahonSW Omg this is horrible! How can people get away with this? I have also seen discrimination from landlords firsthand when searching for a home in the past. How can we change this maliciousness? I guess people think since they own it, they make the rules. #EpgilheanyS18 #SUSocialWork

Where is the funding for those with ALS? ALS is a degenerative terminal illness that has NO CURE. ALS should be receiving the same funding for research as cancer! Support the ALS Association by rallying in DC in May to fight for more funding! #SUSocialWork #EpgilheanyS18 twitter.com/alsassociation…

@Elvirajohnson60 @CNN Elvira, what an absolute tragedy? How did we not see this coming? I feel as though there should have been signs of obvious mental health indicators and concerns... How can we make sure this does not happen again? #EpgilheanyS18 #SuSocialwork

Drunk, drugged and possibly on the run: The Hart family's final days @CNN cnn.it/2IXFcnI What a tragedy! These poor innocent children, killed by someone who were suppose to love and protect them. Do you think they knew their life was about to come to an end?#SUsocialwork

@vkrisa96 Definitely important! Sometimes we forget to engage in self-care and it's vital to learn self-care early on as a social worker to not get burned out! I like how this recognizes "self-care" everyday, so important! #EpgilheanyS18 #SUSocialWork

@vkrisa96 100% agree. Fear is so common w/ sexual assault in kids. How can we break this barrier w/ children? Do u think that education about sexual assault should be taught @ school? Should we be teaching kids that they shouldn't fear coming forward? #SUSocialwork #EpgilheanyS18

@kelseymcnulty1 Kelsey, I heard about this on the radio this morning & was stunned. Mini baseball bats... How would this help in the event of an active shooter? Also, teachers deserve a raise with all of these added responsibilities. #SUSocialWork #EpgilheanyS18

@KeenenMeghan I enjoyed the interprofessional conference. Working with other human services providers on a case, made all the difference for all service workers on case. Great to see how we could all collaborate and provide a more effective care plan for client. #SUSocialWork #EpgilheanyS18

Salisbury University's College of Health and Human Services Learning Community provides a great experience. The Inter-Professional Conference held was a rich experience. To work side-by-side with other health providers on a case, was beyond enriching. #SUSocialWork #EpgilheanyS18

@vkrisa96 The passion that these children have for change is incredible. I really look forward to seeing the outcome of the march and what stance politicians are going to begin to take so that the people can vote! #SUsocialwork #epgilheanyS18

This young girl showed such poise and passion in her speech. The courage and bravery of these children was breathtaking. The children of our future deserve to live and they SHOULD have the biggest say! #SUsocialwork #epgilheanyS18 twitter.com/thegarance/sta…

@vkrisa96 Definitely understand that they want to promote kindness but we should be pushing & teaching children to do this daily. Adults need to do this as well

@adriebrl I totally get what you’re saying! I think the main purpose of it is just to emphasize the importance of kindness within schools, but I definitely see where you are coming from

@Bri_Pom I'm really glad that the children were supported (mostly) and were able to practice peaceful protesting. It is nice to see them so involved in wanting to make this change happen! #epgilheanyS18 #SUSocialWork
