Valve has legit become 10x as scammy in the past year it’s ridiculous the path they’re going down. I’ve never seen a more greedy company in the gaming space, everything they do is actively evil

@TitanHoloCS @Ozzny_CS2 Smaller teams Will be receiving more than last major. Check percentages from last major

@Ozzny_CS2 It makes sense, but also makes it even harder for smaller teams to grow

Valve Updated the way Major Revenue is distributed ‼️
> 50% of the Major Shop revenue goes to players, teams & the TO
> Stickers sold before the Major ends: Higher VRS means a higher revenue %
> Stickers sold after the Major ends: Revenue % will be based on the Final Standings
If a team makes the grand final, they will make more than a team that got eliminated on Stage 1... this is really nice if you ask me

English

@ItsMarrchy Yeah I've just found out what the difference looked like before. I always thought the difference between teams was much closer, but this does seem like a better split. I guess we'll hear if it's better/worse from the players after Cologne

Last place gets a quarter of the sticker money that 1st place receives. What's the hiveminds thoughts on this? As someone from a minor region I'd personally prefer if that number was balanced more towards half so the orgs that need it for longevity survive longer.

Still think the same.
Valve pulling down prices in purpose of everything so they fit in steam range prices. Wont disable trading but yeah, all will bleed to shit prices for a while.
It is what it is. 🫡

Steam clearly preparing to be the only market available. Will take ages tho. Scary tbh
English

the best argument against them removing trading are these prices cos how can they justify these prices if you can’t trade the on a third party market lol

If you were to buy 10 of each of the most expensive CS2 Major stickers, it would cost you around $39,348.25 💀

The worst part about this update isn’t even the change itself.
It’s Valve acting like players asked for it.
We all know players want the exact opposite. I know it, you know it, THEY know it.
They just don’t respect us and that’s a fact. Treating us like this will kill skins.

Game: Valorant
AC: Vanguard (VGK)
Today’s Vanguard anti-cheat update blocked the majority of DMA firmwares using SATA/NVMe.
VGK suddenly triggered an IOMMU restart warning in-game, after which the DMA firmware becomes completely unusable, even without the game running or after uninstalling Vanguard. Only fix is a full OS reinstall.
It’s using IOMMU to create read blocks, which permanently breaks the majority of almost all SATA/NVMe firmwares once triggered.
Even the advanced H2-board got affected.
