@adweya_ I graduated pre Covid. I realized my undergraduate education was just an extension of high school. My masters is where I had to catch up and improve my research and analytical skills.

Those guys who hype Kenyan education system are lying to you. We’ve been taught rubbish for years. Our curriculum planned by backward people in the ministry. Our government employees are allergic to technology.

@Mimi254_Ela Even the things we crammed were not factual in the least, just hogwash. Unrelated but which uni are you in?

@Mimi254_Ela 💯 and the essays you write there are nothing like the compositions we were made to write in high school. Lecturers were more interested in your takeaway than the author’s premise and that’s where our system failed us. Cramming was incentivised rather than critical thinking

@PurpleMe63849 @wambuijoan2024 💯 we always looked out for each other.. it’s sad that a lady can go out with her female friends now and turn up dead or SA’d 😟

@wambuijoan2024 I wouldn't want to be a young girl in this era. Back in the day, we made sure we all left together, even if it meant all of us sleeping at one of our friends house that was the motto. You don't leave anyone behind, kids these days are different. Everyone's for themselves

This is Mercy Wanjiru walitoka church na mama yake then akapigiwa simu na rafiki akaambiwa Kuja tupige Sherehe hapa tunnel Mombasa road. Mercy was so happy akaenda. The following day, she was found brutally tortured and unconscious about three kilometres from the club where the birthday party had taken place, she had a deep cut on the head and lower abdomen. Both her arms were also broken. CCTV footage showed Mercy enjoying time with her friends at the club before one of them is seen leaving and boarding an Uber, leaving her behind. She is later seen trying to convince a boda boda rider to take her home, but they failed to agree on the fare. The rider is then seen picking up another customer, leaving Mercy behind. No one knows what happened in btw untill she was found the next day tortured and unconscious where she was taken to hospital and has been in the ICU since then untill juzi when she passed on. The family is seeking justice.

@MeranSays This app has normalised misogynistic talk so much, a man sleeps with a woman and turns right around to call her ‘malaya’ and every other man agrees with him. And he’s somehow always absolved no mater the partners he’s had. He’s even a legend.

@aarchangel7777 Poverty is definitely 💯 a factor in dv and femicide. Being poor pre exposes you to abuse in so many ways and makes it hard to leave abusive relationships/ situations. Realise when a woman has her money right marriage becomes secondary and she’s selective with sharing her space

When you go to usikimye a big percentage of the cases are from lower income areas na sijaskia "ladies, stop chasing a hard life" bado. yet it seems to happen so often that being poor might actually be a risk factor when it comes to dv/femicide.

@Miss_Muthoni_ I heard waking up between 3-4am means cortisol levels could be high, try a snack with protein and carbs/fat.. but I guarantee it’s mostly diet than exercise as people are suggesting.

@KinyekiKirangi @snacktothefutur @mainamal_ Why do you assume to know what I subscribe to? If you’re only referencing what you agree with then that’s not ‘real’ in the least and that makes it emotional. Get a grip

@adweya_ @snacktothefutur @mainamal_ Those doing the killings obviously ain't logical, are they? On real science not the pseudo one you subscribe to, it has proven that females are overly emotional beings and that's biology. See? 😂

@KinyekiKirangi @snacktothefutur @mainamal_ ‘Logical beings’ don’t kill people out of outrage, they reason themselves out of it. Or how do you understand logic? Men are not any more logical than women, even science has disproved that fact.

@cliffhawi_1 @DeeKiluu_ That scripture is a plea to God to remember His covenant with His people, not one to show us how wicked the world is. The world was not designed so, even Jesus said ‘in the beginning it was not so’. Refer to genesis 1:1.

Mnashinda kuambia women to “be careful" yet we’re the ones being harmed. Both men and women meet strangers...the risk just isn’t equal. So maybe the focus shouldn’t only be on how women avoid danger, but on why the danger exists.

We are expecting too much from people who laugh & joke about sexual assault when done to their fellow men & immediately turn to call out feminists for not "standing up" for them (after insulting them), instead of calling out the perpetrators, which is almost always a man.

@DeeKiluu_ Have respect unto the covenant, for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty. Psalms 74:20 That's how the earth was designed, and that's how the ball just bounces, the path of life and the path of death, choose your path, you'll be a topic either way.

@DeeKiluu_ You know that the risk is disproportionate, yet hutaki kusema what needs to be done, which is that those who are affected more need to exercise more caution. The danger exists because bad people exist. How difficult is this to understand?
