Pal at work getting rid of his mam’s vinyl. He said “There’s a couple you might like, but it’s mainly older stuff” Everything else behind this can be dross for all I care. 😍😍

@batcountry1980 It’s a cracker, but I wonder if it’s because The Rain Song and No Quarter are so dominant, that the album tends to get overlooked as a whole. 🤔

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t see this mentioned much when people talk of their favourite Zep albums. Don’t know why because it’s a topper. The bombastic rush of the opening song into the mystic splendour of The Rain Song is one of their great one-two punches. The whole album flows wonderfully from track to track, though. Not a fan of The Crunge, but the rest is excellent. Aye, even D’yer Mak’er.

I know many people miss the sound of Richie’s voice on commentary. He’s probably still widely regarded as the best tv cricket commentator. But, if Richie remains at #1, who would you put at #2? I’m genuinely interested to see who people pick. Radio commentators need not apply!

@VinnieSull1van It’s the rubbish tagging I hate the most… mindless scrawl. The equivalent of a dog marking its territory with p*ss!! Look what they did to this historic ghost sign in Reading.

The Graffiti Issue Though opinions will differ, the fact is that the overall appreciation of art in various forms hasn't only decreased among our youth, but the adults who direct them. Before attacking this statement or video, try to appreciate that those of us who oppose such activities are entitled to our opinion. Especially as we see our argument isn't only against what we see as vandalism, but the beastardisation of art, and even culture. Thank you 🤝

I’ve see them all before but I’m rewatching the first episode of Endeavour. What a stunning tv drama it is. The cast, the acting, the production, the writing, the locations and the music. It has it all. For me, the best of the Morse trilogy.

This album DID NOT make my Top 70 albums of the 70s list but does it make yours? 🤔 George Harrison: All Things Must Pass (1970)

@ZandiSussex I have nothing against W&K, but I’d also try to avoid them, as I would a six foot Mickey Mouse in Disneyland.

I feel sorry for this woman. The British media will hunt her down, find where she lives, pay neighbours to lie about her, rummage through her bins and track down the first boy she ever kissed … all because she committed the unforgivable crime of not caring about their royals.

Watched the first episode of Morse last night. Of course I've seen it half a dozen times before, but perhaps not for 10 years. I was shocked by how good it was compared to the Netflix-style sagas that everyone raves about. I'm nostalgic for that era now!

Using the accent you speak with how would you greet a friend you met in the street? I’d say “Ay up me duck” or “Ay up mate”
